Unfortunately that's the way it is. I'm having my skins stolen aswell and modified, when really the only thing I ask for is a mention in the credits. It's just something that you can't avoid. There's always gonna be people who enjoy taking credit for something that someone else has done. Either because of lazyness, or just pure evil. Still, I'm making skins because I enjoy it; and I don't think I'd ever stop just because of this.

Go to "trainer.inI" and find "DisableHotkeys = 0" (or similar) - Change 0 to 1

Just to make it clear again, since it does seem I'm getting misunderstood: my whole respect and admiration for making this video. All I was trying to say, is that I admire someone who takes the time to make a 5 minute video (for just one ini option!!) just to explain it to the people, who obviously are too lazy to look it up. And that I personally wouldn't have the patience and energy to record, render and upload a video, just for people that are unwilling to read the documentation. I'm sorry if anyone got that in the wrong throat, I did absolutely not try to criticise the maker of this video; as I personally feel, that contributing in such a way, is doing the community a great service. (Oh and please, the next time you have a problem with something I say - Just report it, or shoot me a PM. Just fyi, if you can't get it to work, and you're not using XP; in 99,9% of the cases it's gonna be your own fault. "Nothing happens when I press the keys" and "the game crashes when I start it" are the typical I-have-not-installed-it-correctly-errors. Post a screenshot of your GTA root directory. (where LaunchGTAIV/LaunchEFLC is)

I'm running on Windows 7 since ages. So I don't know a fix for this unfortunately, other than of course, upgrading to Windows 7.

It seems that there are several people having problems with XP. Not trying to troll, but you should seriously consider upgrading to Windows 7, even Microsoft said that XP is outdated and unsafe. Obviously, that's not the ideal solution to the problem, but just a friendly advice.

Well, but the problem doesn't lay with Lt.Caine or ELSv7, it lies with you people who fail to install it correctly. There's so many people who got it working and are NOT spamming the forum with support requests. Why can't you guys just go, read the guide and do everything as it is said in there?

Reinstall it and follow the instructions in the guide. ELSv7 works, if you can't get it to work, you're doing something wrong.

Yes it does, it just goes into a lot of detail, which is a problem for people that can't read long texts (seems to be common for people on the internet).

If you slam a book against someones head and it sounds hollow, it's not always the books fault, you know? Oh and just so you don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to insult anybody. But are you really criticizing a mod, because YOU can't use it?

There's an 18 page pdf included with the download! It explains the mod in EVERY aspect. You have NO excuse to ask for this over and over and over again, unless you wanna tell us, that you can't read. Just go read the god damn pdf and you will see how to do it.
