  1. Good job Wade! I was thinking about getting around to this request, just have too many other ones in the works right now. Great job, looks mint and even matched the light bar!
  2. @Thehurk I see the vehicle is templated for a license plate but it looks like it doesn't work currently. Even your screenshots don't have the license plate that's in the default templates. Is there any way to fix this or any plans to fix it?
  3. It's in the works by @SOLDI3RFX check his update here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/profile/268977-soldi3rfx/?status=22781&type=status
  4. Haha! Glad to bring back memories, hopefully good ones! I'm not from Tennessee, I actually made these by request for another user on LSPDFR and decided to publish them for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned, I will be adding a few more over the next week or so.

Welcome Officers! This is my first official release, we have here the recreation of the Knoxville Tennessee Police and County Sheriff's vehicles, both real and fictional. They should be 99.9% accurate to the real thing, I did make these solely from pictures but I gave all my effort to make the skins as accurate as possible. All skins are provided in both 2K AND 4K in respect for both the people with good computers and people without. If you feature these in a video and want me to add it here please send me a message! Supported Vehicles - 2015 Chevy Tahoe by Captain14: 2015 Ford Police Interceptor (Taurus FPI) by MattJeter 2014 Dodge Charge by Bxbugs123: 2011 Ford Crown Victoria by F5544/Gump: 2010 Ford Expedition by 72will If you want me to add support for a non-fleet vehicle let me know in the comments and I will try to do so. If you have any requests for other departments please send me a message directly. Thanks and enjoy!
  5. I know the team behind OpenIV is working on the openFormats conversion so you can edit using the GIMS plugin for 3ds max, but thus far they've only just recently released OpenFormat conversions which is still limited in what it can do. It may take another few months for them to get It working well with vehicle files. You can check out OpenIV's website for more details it's in their most recent updates.
  6. @Cedo Nulli The skin looks good for not having tested it. But it still needs polishing, I took a few screenshots for you and tried to single out some of the obvious problems I saw. The last three mostly highlight some of the problems I saw, some of them might not be fixable depending on how the model was mapped. You'll see the handles have blue stretched on to them from the skin behind it, the police lettering on the front fenders get stretched probably by the mapping, might have to play with that one so it looks better, the rear just before the bumper overlaps onto the bumper - this might be again an effect of the mapping but if you play with it you might be able to eliminate it. The last two things I noticed was the alignment on the license plates were off, looks like they're a bit too low, and the decal texturing overall looks very rough up close. I'm not sure why it looks that rough in game, it looks like they're okay in the actual file to me.
  7. Okay, give me a few days to whip them up and I'll publish them for you.
  8. @Cedo Nulli If no one has reached out to test this for you already I'd be happy to. You've got some good work there and we sure could use more MP vehicle skins!
  9. Yeah I saw these, the problem was the colors with these it would take a few hours to get these cleaned up and turned gold like the real emblems. if you're okay with them remaining these colors and just made to look like stickers I can do that no problem, just don't have the time right now to fully convert these. I could also make them monochrome if you think that would look better since the Charger's is essentially monochrome being black and silver. Btw, a DSLR is a digital single-lens camera, i.e. a good digital camera.
  10. @lamp If you can find or take some good close pictures of the emblems I can make these for you. I tried doing some searches for them but nothing was good enough quality or the same emblem. Given they're your local LEOs I'm sure you can take some pictures if you really want these. The higher quality and cleaner pictures the better, if you have a DSLR don't be afraid to use it.
  11. @Riley24 @countryboy3131 The link should be http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/. It allows you to take a sample of the text and upload it, then it will generate possible suggestions. It's often not even close but its another tool to use. Another good resource is this guide: It's also a general guide about texturing, but there is a good section there about font matching as well as some common fonts used on police vehicles. That said, I've dealt with similar fonts to the ones you're looking for Riley24 and the second one is one of the Eurostiles and it looks like the first is Korataki or very close to it. If either of you have more questions feel free to call me out in a post or mail me directly.
  12. I suggest making it more like the DPF's Continental. The rambar just makes it look silly. It looks good so far though, everything looks clean, just unusual. Not a bad thing though!
  13. If you can provide pictures and tell us which vehicle(s) specifically you want the skin(s) for then someone might be able to help.
  14. @jnance89 If you don't get anyone to make these for you, I can do it in about 2 weeks. I'm currently working on a number of other skins for someone. But if you don't get anyone to do it, send me a mail and I can do it then. Delta4 is probably right about how your vehicles are spawning. It may help to start your game without mods and see what vehicles are where and make sure you have replaced the right ones. You'll also want to verify that any of those replacement vehicles don't have alternate skins that are not meant to be in that area if liveries are enabled. If you still have trouble with it let us know what vehicles you have in each slot and what is spawning where it shouldn't be.
  15. Make sure you are Replacing on of the original skins. I see your file is also named vicz_sign, I don't have any of BxBug's models installed so I can't verify, but most others use cvpi_sign_# as their convention, if he's using the same then your file should be named the same. Though if you use Replace then this won't be an issue. If you know a model of his that doesn't use OIV installer files I would be happy to test it for you. I just won't mess up my game installing his stuff, and it looks like he still uses them.
  16. No, you just need two things. An image editor like GIMP or Photoshop, and a vehicle that you have the template for, the template is usually included with a lot of car mods and is a PNG/GIF that looks like a vector image. You can follow this for some tips and tricks. The font bit will be particularly important if you're model after real vehicles and trying to match them exactly. As for testing it, if you don't know it already you can view the default texture, i.e. slot 1, in OpenIV if you open the car's YFT file and it will be applied to the model. I usually replace that default texture with mine for testing rather than loading up the game each time because its to time consuming for just basic testing. Of course always view your final in game. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a mail or post another topic in the group, people are very helpful here!
  17. So I've done a number of 2K private skins and so far now they've come out great using the 2K templates that come with some cars. However, I'd like to start doing them in 4K instead just for the added detail and I'm not sure if cars that come with 2K templates actually support 4K skins or do they need to be retemplated with a 4K template? If anyone can help clarify that would be great. TLDR: Can I just scale up a 2K Template to 4K and make skins that will still work and be in 4K?
  18. Just wanted to add, if you don't get permission from some, you can always leave out the model files and let users download them themselves, just build the add-on pack such that they can all be installed and give them instructions on where to get them from the actual creators.
  19. @sincerexl I can probably do this for you. The SWR PD should be easy, which color set do you want.. there are three different tones there. The Bellevue one will take some time, mostly to get that font correct.
  20. He's probably using the Emergency Strobes plugin for the headlights. And I think he's using Radiance for the light brightness.
  21. @ringiskong Of course not, just pointing out that there is one already in case you didn't know. But also, why would he spend time making one when there's a nearly identical one that exists already? The only difference right now is the pushbar, which is a better one imho, but hardly calls for making a whole new FPIU.
  22. @Killermanjackg @ringiskong There already is a 2016 FPIU here by Thehurk.
Great work! It could use some more gear in the back but I love that you added the shelving in the rear already! Not sure why there's a K9 kennel back there, maybe for unruly patients!
