  1. You can technically do this already with the Custom Backup mod, which allows you to create your own custom backup responses including vehicles, peds and loadouts. There's also an upcoming mod by the same creator PNWParksFan for a better EMS response called Better EMS that will have LSFD respond with EMS when you call for them. Not sure if either of those methods will work for them putting out a fire, but it's a start. It sure would be nice for LSPDFR to include this stuff in the future though.
  2. Does that including skinning stock vehicles or just your replacement/add-on vehicles?
  3. Great guide/FAQ! Wish I'd have discovered this before I learned a lot of these lessons for myself. The most important things about installing Mods in GTA is, first, always backup files before you install the mod, even if it's a previously modded file! It's easier to go back than to have to re-edit files, especially with vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta! Second, don't give up, if a Mod is not working triple check that you've done everything in the directions, that often includes opening the files in OpenIV's viewers again to make sure the changes are there, I have had times personally where I thought the file copied successfully, but actually didn't and caused the mod to not work since a file was not changed. Lastly, don't forget to read the mod page comments before you try installing a mod and again if you have issues. I've had several cases where a "broken" mod was fixed by a commenter and if you didn't read the comments first you may just assume its broken and give up or waste time trying to fix it yourself again!
  4. Probably talking about this bus by the sounds of it. Which I believe is the CompoBus?
  5. You should try attaching some samples of what you're trying to do so people can look at it and give you advice, or help out and do it for you. It's hard to help if we don't know what you're working with.
  6. No doubt, I've done some work with zmodeler3 for myself and it's not easy. But if someone is willing to do it I know I'd love it and I'm sure others would too.
  7. The basic Glock mods out there look great and fit into LSPDFR perfectly, but for those special operators out there I feel we could do with something more special, like the Salient Arms Glocks. There already is a close match to it, the Max Payne 3 Glock so perhaps just a simple Skin for it to match the tones of the SA Glocks would look good. There are some good close shots of the SAI Glock 17 here: http://www.omahaoutdoors.com/salient-arms-international-handguns/sai-g17-t1-17/ Anyone else like the idea or anyone willing to try and make a skin/model for it?
