Well, a texture can make them black, but I left them on the template just incase a department wanted colored mirrors :P -
I don't know why people have it do that, the corner module does not light up, there is only a marker/parking light. It comes on with the headlights. Look at this video:

Yes, I took his into 3DS Max and used it as a template. I only wish I had made mine a slight bit different because a lot of people do not believe me. -

Made quite a few major edits. 1. Fitted new 2013 hood from my old SHO Taurus. (I accidentally left the old 2010 hood on my last version). 2. Modeled a 3-D grill, it comes in right at 1,300 triangles, so not too bad. 3. Fixed the front windshield trim (I accidentally left the 2010 trim which was too wide on my last version). 4. Fitted a new, low poly dash, rear view mirror, and sun visors to the interior. Total model triangle count is right around 47,000. Full album: http://imgur.com/a/ZCZLZ -
I will keep this thread updated with pictures of my latest projects. First post is a pretty big project. Can you name the vehicle this part belongs to? Manually target welded this bonnet from over 16,000 triangles down to 572 triangles. Full 1080p render:

Scaled some lighting parts down to proper size. -
The issue with the boat you linked to, was that the lights were not emissive. They were physical meshes, but lacked the emissiveness of normal ELS. For some reason, it is hard-coded into GTA that materials are not allowed to become emissive when over a large body of declared water. Even sometimes driving through tunnels that go over water, the ELS loses its emissiveness. While the ambient and environmental lighting work for the els, because that is dictated by the .ini, that game will not allow for emissive lights over water.

I mean I love the setup and the modding skill, I know you are a good modder, but I do not like the normal errors and ridges where all of the different parts meet. You should take the bodyshell into 3DS Max and select the polygons on the outside (template mapped sections) not the inside or inside edge polygons and detach them to element. That should fix the weird thing where the doors appear to curve inwards. Nice setup though

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol uses the two-wheel drive (rear-wheel) variant of a Chevrolet Tahoe PPV which is why it is so much lower than the other Tahoes. As seen here, the Tahoe NCSHP removes the foglights, or puts covers on them. Also, there is no front plate on our Tahoes. EDIT: P.S. The rims on all NCSHP Tahoes are black, not grey. -
