  1. Unhandled exception error when clicking 'Download LUA SDK' Absolutely no guidance on what it doesn, what you can do or how it works.
  2. 1am, interesting time to release a mod
  3. I wouldn't worry about it mate. I'm sure you've got plenty of time to get a new rig. "Final Countdown", "Very Soon", "Almost Imminent" are descriptive words that have been thrown around in here for weeks and weeks :D
  4. The longer the wait, the more hype, the more hype, the more traffic, the more traffic, the more ad revenue. #conpiracytheory
  5. Dude! Not at the same time PLEASE! My bike is in the garage. Needs an MOT before I can take it out to play
  6. Heh, the funny thing is, when the 'final countdown' was announced, I thought it would be very shortly too Yeah yeah fanboys... save your fingers, I know it will be ready when it's ready......
  7. GamerNoobJay commented on Carrythxd's gallery image in GTA V Galleries
  8. I agree that the existing ELS in the game is great. I'm personally happy with it, but I know this community. Realism is always a pursuit so I would bet money on their being a modded system that allows for greater customization. Different warning lights, rear only etc etc.
  9. Thanks dude, your advice worked!
  10. Director mode is great. Small vid I made in DM. One annoying thing in DM is there's no 1st person view. https://www.youtube.com/embed/3rYD7cpB7Nc
  11. Personally I've not touched the settings, they're stock and it's beautiful. The cars look very realistic and the cop cars even better!
  12. All I can say is ... I cannot believe how beautiful and smoothly the game runs on PC. I was expecting a chugfest but oooh no, 55-60 fps with an un-noticeable drop to 45ish in busy areas. WOW. I played through the 360 version and was uber dissapointed about the blurry distance. Now all I am doing is driving around imagining how flipping amazing it's going to be when we finally get a scripthook and are able to patrol as cops like we do now in IV. I know we're a long way from that going by what I've read, but I know we'll get there and it will be well worth the wait.
  13. No images, both youtube videos are private...........
  14. Love the model, not a huge fan of the christmas tree setup but I've managed to run it without full lights so very happy. Good work.

Simple alteration to the Noose uniform. Changes the N.O.O.S.E on the back to Police. Installation : Import the files into the appropriate folders using SparkIV or OpenIV
  15. Re the buffalo and location as posted in the video above. It now spawns regularly but only after completed the mission .
  16. Don't forget copyright infringement. If the cars were identical they'd have to pay for rights. I think the cop cars in GTA5 are excellent. They're realistic but the lighting system is just fantastic in comparison to GTA4 and its predecessors. It's just a shame you can't do any kind of law enforcement missions in them.
  17. I've gone there over 50 times and not seen this spawn. I'm pretty confident it only triggers after a certain stage in the game. I've tried everything.
  18. I've still not encountered the FiB unmarked 'Dodge Charger' style car as seen in the art work. Anyone?
  19. Fantastic game! The Bad Niggles out the way 1st. Xbox graphics :( Very blurry, difficult to take in detail when driving around due to poor anti aliasing but I accept 360 is 8 years old and going from PC Version GTA4 to the blurry xbox is always going to be a step down. After a few hours of game play this seems to become less of an annoyance for me as my brain adjusts. Don't like that if you kill a cop out in the desert with no witnesses you still get automatic 2 stars and the cops come for you. Driving at first felt a little too arcady but again like the blurry graphics I stopped noticing it and it now feels normal. Would have loved it if one of the playable characters was a corrupt LSPD officer, kinda like that one voiced played by Samuel L in SA. I think they missed a trick there but who knows. DLC :D The Good Pretty much everything else. When this comes out on PC and the LCPDFR community get modding this will be truly amazing. The lightbars. OK not as realistic as ELS, but not far off and of course the HUGE bonus is you can open doors. I would happily use these instead of ELS in the new game, but ELS still is my choice vs non ELS in GTA4. Attention to details is amazing. Many things that were in red dead have made it into GTA5 like the ambient wildlife etc. Love all that. I spent most of yesterday exploring before doing any missions :D Already getting a craving at work to go home and play lol.
  20. I came a cross the LSPD symbol on a poster in the game, same as the one on the city cars. It's fictional variation of the LAPD city symbol used in RL. Came across a roadside High Way patrol cop.
