  1. No. When you go into the vanilla update folder and click "edit mode" you should be prompted to create this path in the mods folder.
  2. Rename your mods folder to _mods and try loading in via Rage.
  3. You always need to use your mods folder when installing anything into the game such as vehicles, graphics, sirens, etc. The mods folder will save your game. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  4. Take a screenshot of the path you're using to install your modded cars. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  5. try using this gameconfig - https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars
  6. Your vanilla update.rpf updated automatically, but the one in your mods folder you need to update yourself.
  7. I'm seeing a lot of threads about issues with the new SHV. Whether it's actually SHV or user related error I can't say.
  8. I prefer Computer+ just because it's right there and you don't need to alt tab. It's far too tedious, imo.
  9. Welcome to the world of modding! :) It is amazing and very enjoyable to really be able to do whatever we want. If you ever need help, please do post a thread. :)
  10. Glad you got it. :)
  11. In OpenIV, go into mods-->update. Now click "edit mode" and see if it says anything about an update.
  12. Did you update the update.rpf in your mods folder?
  13. Take a screenshot of your main GTA V directory, then the ELS folder, and finally the pack_default folder.
  14. Unfortunately, that's what you need to do. The update folder in the mods folder has to be updated.
  15. Are you on Steam or disc? This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  16. Please do not hijack someone else's thread. Create your own.
  17. After your game updated, did you update the update.rpf in your mods folder?
  18. Yes, after you've dragged them to OpenIV.
  19. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  20. But when you double click the .yft in OpenIV, do you see the modded vehicle?
  21. The other topic was locked for a reason, please don't keep creating them for this. Furthermore, please do read our guidelines before you post again. Redistributing content you didn't make, which includes previous Rage versions, is not allowed on our forum. Stop asking for users to do it. https://www.lcpdfr.com/guideline-hub/ It's also against Rage's terms if you look on their site:
  22. RPH doesn't support previous versions because it'd be a lot of extra work. You aren't forced to update, it's optional as long as you properly back up your game. Furthermore, Caramel's comment is far from "useless" and provides information that you need to be aware of. Do you know Alexander Blade? If not, then you really have no place to say SHV will never be updated again, because you don't know. Alex has always been good with updates, and he will release another. I strongly, strongly encourage you read our community guidelines which forbids sharing game files. Please don't cop an attitude with us just because you didn't back up your game.
  23. Hi there, I wouldn't say "literally nothing" works without SHV. LSPDFR and Rage still work flawlessly. It's just mods like trainers and ELS that won't work. You are correct in that a majority of people still successfully using SHV backed up their game, or like in my case, never updated to begin with. Unfortunately, you are unable to redownload previous Rage versions. You're going to have to either update everything, or look for it the same way you found the update.rpf and launcher files - which is risky and I don't recommend.
  24. Previously, you could use different patchdays for modded vehicles, such as patchday3. At some point, Rockstar changed how things worked (either intentionally or not) and it affected mods in that you have to use the latest patchday with a vehicles.rpf when replacing. I guess if you use one single folder for everything instead of different patchdays and DLCs it can work that way.
  25. Not yet, but we do have a Discord in the works. When you double click the .yft of the modded vehicle file, does it show the vehicle you want?
