Custom Backup
Right now it's not possible to reorder the menu. I'm looking into possibly adding that in the future. Boat support is coming in the next release, which should be published sometime this week. I'm aware of the issue with SWAT hats falling off, but I'm not sure yet what's causing it. Looking at workarounds but no solution quite yet.

Lore Friendly or Realistic Vehicles/Textures
Personally I like lore-friendly for local agencies (sheriff, san andreas state patrol, LSPD, etc.) but I like realistic for federal agencies (FBI, Park Rangers, etc.)

That should work to get them to respond in those areas (Davis and Strawberry). If you want sheriff in all of Los Santos, i.e. eliminate the city police altogether, you could add <Area>LosSantos</Area>, but that would be a bit weird I think.

Where are you inserting that? Can you upload the full CustomBackup.xml file? You need to make sure the <BackupRegion> is inside of <LocalPatrol> or <LocalSWAT> or whatever backup type you're trying to define it for. You should also check that your XML file is valid, using an XML validator. Having <LocalPatrol> followed immediately by </LocalSWAT> doesn't make sense. You should refer to the documentation PDF included in the download... it explains in detail how to add new regions to the XML file.

That area isn't by default in the parks backup area, because Vinewood hills also includes a lot of residential areas. You could add it if you wanted to, just add a <Area>Vinewood Hills</Area> to the Parks sections of the XML file.

Looks like it should work. Where are you when you request backup expecting to get a ranger? Try going to somewhere like Raton Canyon or Mt. Chiliad.

Did you rename one of the XML files to custombackup.xml? Are you using the custom backup menu? Upload your ragepluginhook.log file, your custombackup.xml file, and your custombackuplocations.ini file.

Personally I don't like the cursor showing up because it resets your view to behind the player and you can't aim with a menu open. Can you add a method to disable displaying the cursor? Then plugin authors could put cursor on/off in their INI file or just disable it when they think it's appropriate.

License Plate Randomizer - Get Rid of 46EEK572 Automatically
I'm traveling right now so I just have my laptop which can barely run GTA at 15 FPS and 720p. I guess I'll put up a screenshot of a license plate when I get home? Haha. My bad! I'll edit the credits :P It's the default license plate in GTA V. The game is supposed to randomize it but sometimes when you spawn in vehicles multiple will end up with that plate.

Gotcha. I was not using IsUsingController. Can you give an example of a practical use for that method? I don't play with a controller myself. I do check the version on startup and warn the user if it doesn't match the expected version, but I don't force-quit the plugin since most small updates don't break backwards compatibility. I'll include the latest version in my next release. Thanks for your ongoing work on this useful tool!

Re-uploaded due to the LCPDFR server crash. Finds all vehicles with the default license plate 46EEK572 and randomizes the plate. Runs automatically when loaded by RPH. For swat, it's prop_head - this should be in the example XML file. For police and sheriff peds it's comp_tasks, but LSPDFR has an issue where it messes with that ped component. There will hopefully be a fix in the next LSPDFR release.

Ems doesn't work well with custom backup unfortunately because of how LSPDFR works internally. You should add those entries to your LSPDFR backup.XML, and call them through the Ambulance entry on the menu. I am working on an ems mod but it's not finished yet. Did you rename one of the XML files to CustomBackup.xml? If you need support please upload your CustomBackup.XML file, ragepluginhook.log, and CustomBackup locations.INI file.

[REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion Thread
Complex, dynamic, interesting callouts take a lot of time to develop. Albo's Assorted Callouts bank heist callout took months to develop, and he's got a lot more experience modding than I do. So, it will be quite some time before these callouts are available. But, when they are ready, I hope they are worth the wait!

Exactly. In fact, gas tanker... there's a good idea. I plan to eventually use the yachts and possibly even aircraft carrier, as well as the ships in port, as areas to have callouts take place in.

Those are all some good ideas. There'll definitely be some law enforcement callouts tol though. Think drug smuggling, pirate attack, terrorists in port, illegal fishing, weapons smuggling, drunk boaters, marine pollution, etc.

[REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion Thread
I've just begun working on my first callouts pack: Coastal Callouts. Currently there isn't much going on at sea in LSPDFR, and I'm working to change that. This will be a callouts series focusing on marine patrols and incidents. I'm planning to eventually have enough to make a boat-based marine patrol fun and interesting, but the callouts will also be designed so that a land-based unit could respond to a dock, grab a boat (or maybe a helicopter or something else), and then head to the scene. Callouts will include law enforcement and SAR missions, both in the ocean and on beaches, in ports, and around the terminal and docks. For all you modders out there, if anybody's interested in collaborating, shoot me a PM. I have some ideas already for specific sub-functionality which could be tackled by individual contributors and would make development move much quicker. If you have suggestions, please let me know! Again, this is very early in the process, I'm still scoping out good locations for callouts and brainstorming what to put in them. So, it's a good time to make your ideas heard! [WIP, REL] Better EMS
Work has begun, but it's going to be a while until it's anywhere near ready for release. If anybody has modding experience and wants to contribute, I'm looking for help particularly with identifying appropriate animations and useful props (can you find an AED prop??). PM me if interested.

Glad to hear you got it working! If you play with a keyboard, there's instructions on the download page about how to disable the default LSPDFR backup menu and turn off the override behavior which causes the interaction menu to show up. INSTRUCTIONS TO OVERRIDE DEFAULT LSPDFR BACKUP MENU: To completely disable the built-in LSPDFR backup menu and use the custom menu instead, follow these instructions. Edit CustomBackupLocations.ini. Set these settings: CustomBackupMenuKey=B CustomBackupModifier=None OverrideLSPDFRBackup=false Go to the GTA V settings menu Under Keybindings, go to GTA Online section Change "Look At" from B to something you don't use, like the numpad period
