Actually yes. You can recover vehicles that way as well. I have not experimented with the update.rpf folder however. I have things I would like to salvage as well. I will report back if I can get this to work.

Hey there, From my experience you will need to go with non els or ELS itself if you want all vehicles to function accordingly. For example the stock or default police cars will work to a degree. Also yes there maybe a non els vehicle that it will work okay on. However, the majority of the ELS vehicles have components and it will cause flickering or the lights will be very akward. One of these days I think they will have a different type of ELS so that we can enjoy this better.

That is an easy fix. Did you install that to your latest patchday20ng ? If so, just copy that folder and overwrite your patchday20ng that is in your new mods folder.

No problem and thank you. I also noticed that this particular Rage Hook has dinged my firewall and defender at the beginning. Not sure what they changed but it's bound to get a lot of people asking for sure.

Do you have a mods folder? If so - rename it to mods - copy. Start RagePluginHook.exe again and see if it lets you into the game without crashing. If you are able to play, then your mods folder has outdated files.

Post up your Rage Log

Ok if you have a FIB vehicle pack you can just copy that folder over from that dlc over to the newer mods folder. Should work fine.

Yes if you have an FIB vehicle for example fbi and fbi2 inside that latest patchday it will be copied over. Only if you installed it to that folder. However, if you are speaking about a dlc vehicle pack then that is a bit different. Are you talking about a vehicle pack?

I think you are correct. Maybe in a future patch they can let us specify which station as default etc.

Easiest way around this is to do the following. Rename mods folder to mods - copy Make a new mods folder and copy over your update folder to your new mods folder. (This will take awhile as its 11 gigs or so) Next go to your mods - copy folder and find your dlc patch that you installed your vehicles to. (Mine is always latest patchday20ng) copy that entire folder and paste it into mods folder and overwrite. You might need to reinstall Visual mods again but you should be able to salvage your vehicles.

EDIT: Techinically it is not out of date at all for that time period. Did you not want to update? Might fix several issues.
