Thank you for the response, I have only used the LSPDFR 0.4 plugins and I am unable to ForceDuty because LSPDFR wont let me associate a character to a department before crashing. I have reinstalled manually and automatically. I have also posted a RPH.log underneath the screenshot from the initial post.

I don't have any mods installed. Everytime I goto a police station and select a character whether preset or not I move on to choose a car except it moves my character to an area that doesn't exist. I was able to teleport inside the police station and realized after I confirmed which character I wanted to play as LSPDFR would crash because the garage doesn't exist... If you have reverted GTA version 1604 via Rage Plugin Hook: GameBackups.rph file on hand... and you run steam and have already disabled automatic updates I also have only done this after an update has hit my GTA file and afterwards I will put Steam in offline mode. Might not affect anything I'm just paranoid from all these updates lol. 1. Go into your computer files C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V. 2. Make a copy of your Grand Theft Auto V folder and title it Grand Theft Auto V Copy or something to separate the files. 3. Paste your GameBackups.rph file into the Grand Theft Auto V Copy file. 4. Install the latest LSPDFR version (4.2.0) it comes with an already compatible version of RPH - into the Grand Theft Auto Copy file. 5. Go into the GTA Copy file and start Rage Plugin Hook, when it asks you if you want to update Rage say no and continue, also when it asks if you want to revert your game say yes. 6. Go into the reverted GTA Copy file and copy and paste GTA5.exe over to the updated GTA version C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V. 7. Go into the reverted GTA Copy file and copy and paste GTAVLauncher.exe over to the updated GTA version C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V. 8. Go into the reverted GTA Copy file. 9. Open the folder titled update. 10. Copy update.rpf and open your main GTA folder. 11. Open the update folder and paste the file update.rpf 12. Install LSDPFR 4.2.0 in the main Grand Theft Auto folder (if you haven't already) 13. Start rage plugin hook - the first time it loaded my game up it took 20 - 30 minutes of loading in the background but now it runs fine. Hope this helps. First thing is do you have a backup file for version 1604?

EDIT: It loaded up perfectly!! I had to wait 20 - 30 Min with it loading in the background. Thank you for the advise!! So if I understand correctly the GTA5.exe, GTA5Launcher.exe, And Update.rpf from the backup file of 1604 need to get pasted over into the updated steam game file? I have been installing and uninstalling multiple "solutions" for the 1604 version to launch and in the process messed up a lot of the files lol. BUT I was able to save my gamebackup.rph file so I uninstalled and re-installed the steam GTA then duplicated the file (manually installed lspdfr4.2.0 to both versions) and reverted one back to 1604 using rage plugin hook. Then pasted the GTA5.exe, GTA5Launcher.exe, And Update.rpf files from 1604 version to the main steam GTA common file. It starts but never fully loads all the way it just seems to load forever... please let me know if I am doing this correctly or if I am doing something wrong

Every time I run Rage Plugin Hook it starts loading up until it launches GTA via steam then it says waiting for game window, once GTA starts running from steam using the 1604 version of the launcher it comes up with this screenshot

If you do have the backup RPH file how are you supposed to get past the GTA V 1604 launcher. The new launcher works and I am able to start the base game without LSPDFR. However when Rage reverts the new patch GTA to 1604 the launcher wont let me get past.

The rage hook plugin after being backed up by the previous GTA version will not start. The most recent rage plugin is installed and starts with asking to revert the GTA V version to the previous version. After doing so and running the Rage file in the steam steamapps/common files/ GTA V It continues with the error waiting for game window. There were some other solutions in 2018 by deleting a dinout8.dll file but now it is not present. Please advise.

So after researching more, I found that I have what I need to revert the game and successfully did so but the GTA V launcher is what is stopping the game from running on Steam. Please assist.

Hello to all, I am very new to PC gaming (came for the awesome mods), and actually downloaded GTA V yesterday - along with LSPDFR (4.2.0) and Rage Plugin Hook (open alpha 0.66.1241.15481) I backed up the GTA version (GameBackups.rph) using the Rage Plug Hook application the game worked fine last night, until this morning I am assuming due to the update GTA just pushed out. I reverted the game version and rage plug in says the GTA V version I am running is supported. How ever I cannot get past the social club launcher and receive an error from GTA on startup saying GTA V exited unexpectedly and to retry launch or use safe mode, all the while RPH is in the background waiting for the GTA game window. Please assist. I have also tried: Running the Rage Hook as an administrator. Launching GTA V offline in airplane mode. Redownloaded a clean GTA V common file and added in the LSPDFR and RPH with the backup file. Launched GTA V first then the RPH file Also, the GTA base game only works if it is installed to its latest version. V/r Oaktree
