​Second this, is there a way to skip the update and play only single player?

Hey guys I have been scowering the file library for a while and have seen a few Explorers, I am looking for a high quality replica for LASD or LAPD using the explorer, I think I have found one for LAPD that I like, but the certain lights seem off or odd hence why I am still searching. Is there a high quality LASD PIU out there with accurate lights, good looking model etc. Or can you recommend an Explorer and then maybe a repaint to LASD colors. Thanks guys

I live in Orange County (SoCal) and I see them everyday. The Vectors are still out there, sure they are less, but still easy to find patrolling. Sgt Kanyo, Sentinel55, and Spitfire7 have the most extensive lineup, Chippy with the Suvs. Slicktop from Sentinel55 is more common now then the excellent 2004 or 08 (can't remember) the Kanyo made. Tons of Whelen Liberty CVPIs. (TONS) Suvs are becoming quite popular more and more I am starting to see. I know they have Chargers but haven't seen one real world yet. There commercial enforcement white CVPIs and there Pick-ups out there too. Those are fro what I can see everyday the most popular in the fleet.

Fully agree with FinKone! If I could add one more thing, after frisking someone, the officers finds nothing and says "You are free to go." I typically frisk DUI drivers, they generally are just drunk and want to make sure they have nothing on them before transporting. But when he says free to go, I have to stop them again and finally arrest them. It would be nice after the frisking, you had options as how to proceed.

God this is great news. It was just yesterday that a friend of mine told me that the future of LSPDFR was pretty nil with the file structuring and that it was grim to have what we had in IV. I know we are still a ways off, but I am glad to see people still motivated to break the code so-to-speak, I appreciate everyone's efforts what you do is way over my head and I am so appreciative of all the work you guys do.

I like to run Nvidias DSR and have a resolution higher than 1920X1080, Im at 3820X24something dont quote the exact numbers. But with Murphys enb this was easy high FPS but with V3 it crawls at 20. When I lower the resolution back to Native 1920 X 1080 the vehciel textures are blurry and look bad. Texture quality is set to high though, they did look crisp at 19X1080 at one point. Don't know whats wrong.

Wow his cars are really nice! So all there is to do is install Cry3 and use the ELS preset and thats it. There's no tweaking the ENB for headlight brightness or Lights1-4 or anything else?

Do you think my problem was installing ENBs over one another? From Murphy, to Vision, to Cry V3 refernce the lousy-ISH performance. I am still getting around high 20's but I can tell a big difference from before. Would anyone mind posting or sharing what visual settings worked best for them, or perhaps pm'ing the visualsettings configs etc. I appreciate everyone's replies so far, thanks guys for all your input. Truly a great community here.

Okay so you would recommend CryENB, out of the box V3 to me could use some tweaking. WHat edits or settings do you guy use?

Hey guys, right now I am kind of stuck in regards to what ENB to go with. Up until now I have been using Murphys ENB V1. This has so far proven to be the best overall ENB in regards to cars that were made for ELS6 to cars in ELS8. Day and Night modes looked great and my FPS was more than acceptable. However lately I have been noticing my Ambers and Reds seem to blend together, the distinction is not so clear. So I tried VISION and CryENB V3. Vision I thought looked the best, but had weird things taking place at night. First I could literally see a ghost image of my car anytime I accelerated or slowed down and this happened with all other traffic as well (DOF OFF). Very odd, second the car body aluminum reflection were way to wet looking, almost like aluminum foil (I am sure this can be tweaked somewhere). The red and blue lights however looked fantastic, but older cars especially the ambers on some older CHP models for ELS6 were way to BRIGHT! CryENB V3 was a nice balance between the two, but FPS vs the rest on this was pretty lousy. I have an i7 2700K at 4.8Ghz and an EVGA 780GTX 4gb card. Single monitor so I know I have the horsepower. Can you guys provide any insider information as to what you may recommend I do or check out?

Ah got it! Okay, and yes certain times I have forced the callout I got alleys. That probably explains it.

Clean out your case, make sure the CPU heatsink isn't clogged with dust and your rig gets good airflow. Try updating your BIOS, update graphics card drivers. I custom built my PC for FSX and that sim needs such a fast processor to run with addons, I guess that's why I don't have any issues. At least Rockstar coded the game to handle more modern components on the PC so we have that going for us. I am really excited nonetheless.

When responding to a felony car stop, instead of parking directly behind the 1st unit, can we pull up beside him in a true felony stop fashion? Stopping directly behind isn't to realistic. Also, I keep getting calls to the exact same alley on a normal business as usual stop, is there a way to omit alley spawn / stops all together? When the suspect takes his ticket and drives off he crashes into the walls and even our own units at times which at that point the realism is gone.

I don't understand why everybody is fretting about their PC's? Did you guys look at the recommended requirements? In today's tech, most PC's far surpass what is being asked. I am not even closed to worried about near max performance with good FPS on my rig. I say bring whatever you can, and the graphics look amazing.

I agree, a park-kill siren feature would be great. Following this thread in hopes of ideas.

Can anyone here recommend either a good overall handling line for the Ford CVPIs, (some addon cars from the file library tend to flip over real easy) and also a nice sounding V8 engine sound? Hearing the motor rev up like when watching real world Code 3 responses would be great. Thanks for the information guys.

Orange County California here! Some great looking units too, CHP, OC Sheriff, local city agencies, and LASD and LAPD, hard to find a cop car that is not decked out to the max.

If anyone could try it and let me know what method works, that would be great reference backup and waypoint.

For the backup to the placed waypoint, can you request it via the QAM or only Alt+B, because when I request it via the QAM they respond to where I am at right then and there. I would like them to go to the waypoint.

Hey guys, I was wondering is it possible to have the siren sweep through all 3 tones hands free like the UTM4 units. Wail 5 seconds, Yelp 5, and Hyper 5 seconds? I know I can cycle through them myself, but If there is a way to do it hands free that would be great. Thanks guys. Also I did see ALT+G in the ELS controls but that doesn't seem to do anything.
