Darn I typed the whole response and the paged timed out.... Okay what you want to do is download the "MANUAL" installer for LCPDFR and look in the files and find AdvancedHook.dll. The one that ships with the Auto Installer is out of date and causes conflicts with the game launching LCPDFR. All you need to do is find that file and copy / paste it into your MAIN GTAIV directory and overwrite the older version. After that everything should work. ELS comes with an old version that will not work with the latest version of LCPDFR.

Quick question(s) Why when I press ~ to open the console does a taxi spawn immediately next to me? It happens again when I close the console as well. When calling for backup ALT+B I spawn a comet and it immediately removes me from my police vehicle, and calling for pursuit backup ALT+E the same thing happens but in a different vehicle. Sorry if these are dumb questions and I appreciate your help

Thats good, that .rar is what you want. Do you have win-rar? If not google winrar its free get it and run the autoinstaller. After its in, you can right click on you ELS.rar and select extract files. It will look like a normal manila folder after that. Open that folder and there will be files and readme.txt in there with instructions on what to do with everything. Try that out.

Are the vehicles ELS enabled? ELS (Emergency Lighting Systems) the vehicle pack you downloaded will say whether or not it is ELS enabled. By the sounds of it, they appear to be ELS. Here is ELS version 8 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Follow the install guide, it is as simple as moving the files into your MAIN GTAIV directory and the addon vehicle you have has an ELS config file that needs to go INSIDE the main ELS folder. Try that out and see if it helps. Also depending on how accurate the model is, the flash patterns might be set to what the actual agency uses, in which case in ELS there is a file called "Slot Control" you want to make sure that you set Police, Police2, FBI, NOOSE, whatever vehicle you may have downloaded is titled and change the ELS from DEFAULT to whatever the car is titled. If you need more help let us know, but first try installing ELS and see what happens. Lastly if you AUTO installed LCPDFR then with ELS8 you may get a "LCPDFR cannot load" on startup due to some Scritphook.dll file being outdated, it is a simple fix so don't worry. I know what was just said may seem a little daunting but trust me it is really easy and mostly drag and drop and you are done! Good Luck!

If old session is not there, is that because I had once deleted according to advice on the forum but at the same time set Autosave=false in lcpdfr.ini I know that is required to be set to true for this feature to work however when testing true/false didn't make a difference the game never restored.

If I delete save game.fr won't I have to sit through the cut scene of Niko meeting roman for the first mission in the game every time I want to play?

Hey guys, I made sure that my LCPDFR.ini has autosave enabled. When my game crashes based off of what I read here when I reload the game LCPDFR is supposed to resume and place me where I left off. This does not happen, and I still cannot figure out why. Any help guys.

Is there a common LCPFR teamspeak lobby where people can meet up and quickly join a multiplayer session? That would be pretty cool if there is.

Hey guys been hooked on LCPDFR since I got it 5 days ago, and have browsed the downloads section high and low and have many cars to install. I know how to install them and they do play in game. My question is example (LA County SD CVIP and CHP CVPI) both from same author and both model the same vehicle. How can I install both without overwriting the other and having the LASD or CHP version? I want to have the car with both liveries installed. I searched YouTube but they just keep showing how to install one vehicle which I already know how to do, nowhere does anyone explain what to do when you have multiple liveries. Hey guys, I just discovered Sentinels great CHP CVPI vehicles with the Slicktop, Code 3 Vision bar, and Whelen Liberty. These are great vehicles! I live in Southern California and have seen these cars quite often and my question is regarding the flash patterns for the the amber rear traffic advisor, especially the Code 3 vision bar. My one question is the CVPI with the Code 3 Vision bar, the stage 1 lights traffic advisor flash is off by just a smidge. Would it be possible to correct the flash sequence (*) = on (-) = off --****-- **----** --****-- **----** and so on. (This is the current, correct pattern) ***--*** ---**--- ***--*** ---**--- (This is how it is currently and would be great if it could be modified to above) Also are we able to go Left directional, right, split and so on?
