Welp I followed the guide, backed up GTAV.exe, Launcher.exe, and PlayGTAV.exe, along with the update.rpf. Made firewall rules to block the game, and used rage to restore the backup before the game updated. I start the game in offline mode, hear the intro glass breaking and Rage beep beep beeps, and says crash unknown game version. I am scratching my head here because I thought I did all the necessary steps.

I thought we could backup our game via Rage and simply play the backup? Otherwise whats the point of the backup option?

Will you be able to control the hopper up and down?

Are you calling them thieves? I wasn't saying to steal their work, I was just wondering their thought process as why to flaunt something then refuse to let the community enjoy it.

I don't understand why, since we all enjoy the hobby and all it will do is further grow and expand it. never understood why authors do that, what do they gain from it?

As the topic title says, is anyone working on CHP units current gen with Slicktop and Whelen editions? Those would be awesome, I see one out now that's a Whelen but the lights are incorrect in certain spots. The Slicktop version may work out great in dealing with the 20 light limit in V.

Is that with the mod you linked above or vanilla?

I am surprised at the lack of action on this thread, does anyone else feel like I do, or am I alone hear? I really miss tap and nudging the vehicle into a PIT and you really cant seem to do that anymore unless your RAM the Sh!t out of them now.

Yeah, I tried it out, but still wasn't really achieving IV's. Especially when trying to PIT, not sure if thats physics or game code telling suspect vehicle how to behave.

Is there something out there, or perhaps being worked on that turns driving more like IV? I know of a few already but they don't seem to achieve that fully. My biggest hope is that the driving is way closer to IV and that the CVPIs have mass. I hate PIT maneuvers now because the suspect vehicle seems to always weigh more like a giant truck, and will always push you out of the way. Ramming them even at full speed they barely move off course at all! I just miss the less sensitive steering, and being able to PIT and box the vehicles in. I hope you guys understand what I am trying to describe. Man if something like this is in the works I would be so happy!

So glad I came across this thread! ELS will be great, I hated having to hold down a key to change the siren, and now we will be able to do great siren / intersection clearting combos like in IV along with different light stages and traffic advisors! This was my ride for 2 years in Socal, and I got waves and hellos from local law enforcement lol. It was a city beat unit, repainted it dark blue, and added the antennas and push bar, even had PA and some LEDs. Only bad part was could never go anywhere quick on the freeway because everyone did 65mph on the dot lol. I sold it though a few months back.

Hahahaha! That corner of the room is so empty when the tree isn't there and we don't have anything that would fit / work in that corner. So two reasons, it fills that area, and second its a nice soft light to turn on in the evening. So now it is a Fall tree, before it was a 4th of July tree lol.

Okay guys about a week ago I posted seeking advice for a new build since my old PC was ready to retire. I ended up with a Intel Core i7 6700K,Corsair H100i GTX, Noctua CPU Fans, ASUS Republic Of Gamers VIII Hero mobo, 4X4gb GSkill Ripjaw V 3200mhz for XMP, EVGA 980GTX SC, Samsung 850 500gb SSD, EVGA 850 Watt 80 Gold Modular PSU, 1TB WD Black 7200rpm, with a 64gb Cache SSD drive running Windows 10 all in a Corsair 650D. Here are the pics, I have successfully used the ASUS 5-Way optimizer and achieved a stable 24/7 4.8ghxz OC with XMP. Temps never break 72c, this is great! GTA V runs significantly smoother, even at 4K DSR. Now I am in the slow process of re-adding all the addons to LSPDFR and catching up with all the news I missed while I was PC down for over a week and a half waiting for the damn 6700Ks to restock back in the USA.

Following this thread, I hate V's driving. I miss IVs so much!
