  1. Ah, I don't mess around with that kinda thing.
  2. Just stop. Most low end cards, including my old one, just don't have the power to game.
  3. Having 99% doesn't damage your card, but it means that you will not get a capped framerate like 60fps. I would recommend experimenting with different settings until that GPU usage drops.
  4. with help choosing GPUs from me, of course.
  5. Motherboards literally have no affect apart from making overclocks nicer performance wise, you have to find out whats actually causing your problem. Get GPU-Z and look at the sensors, your eyes should be to see if its over 3.5GB, if is usage is pegged at 100%, if its at 95C. Or it may even be a problem with a CPU or another part.
  6. No game engine can be expected to do that, out of design. Get rid of some of those damn cars! As far as I know, they are loaded into memory even when not being used. I don't know why or how you have 60 modded cars, but that is insane
  7. 2 GPUS WILL NOT GIVE MORE VRAM. Hate to seem like I'm shouting but how it works is: The memory is cloned across both cards so that they can both have what they want, 4GB seems to be plenty for V too. Don't buy a 390 for '8GBs of VRAM', they don't have the actual performance to use anything near 6GBs, let alone 8GB.
  8. Yeahh, I've dropped it, I no longer have a potential use for it.
  9. 1. Its usually based on when said mod was released, or what works for the creator. If it works then replace it where you have. 2. These tell the game needed info about the car. These only have to be installed if the readme tells you to. Also, if you have already replaced the vehicles.meta for any additional mods you'll have to add that stuff manually.
  10. Not to mention theres also Spectre, only time I've seen her is in the locker room though. You can also play as her through the RPH console (PlayAsSpectre)
  11. Ah ha! I get it!
  12. I always say that GTA IV with mods wasn't a game.
  13. Some vehicles make you have to, read their readme..
  14. Thats the point. The way it works is, cars that R* haven't touched since APRIL 2015 will work there, literally 95% of the vehicles wont work there.
  15. I prefer to put them in the latest non patch day folder since they actually have places to put data files. Makes it easier. I also never put cars in x64e since by now, most cars have made it into the dlcs folder & you can just add them anyway.
  16. I also use Gigabyte card, good cooler, still capping out at 3.5GBs. What makes me more concerned is the fact that the GPU itself is now running at 100% usage, which means that you will have to turn down your settings until that GPU Usage stays on average at 80%-90% usage.
  17. Simply look up how to verify your game on retail version in Google. Thats not the latest location for that vehicle, try placing it where the working car mod is.
  18. Mini essays! Most notable one to turn down would be textures, since you know, LSPDFR needs a lot of that memory for objects and cars and stuff like that. Try turning it to high, see memory usage then. Overclocking wouldn't help much, however a memory over clock may see small benefits, if your interested in trying out overclocking, PM me and I'll get you setup with the basic stuff you need and give some advice.
  19. (40 minutes is good for a response, a bump should really only be used once it's on the second page.) What DLC folder are you putting the files in? What model are you trying to replace?
  20. no, that memory counter is completely false. Generally LSPDFR & Ragehook seem to use up that GB, and thats probably the cause. Why is this the case? GTX 970 is a 4GB card. However, the upper 512MB of the additional 1GB is segmented and has reduced bandwidth which means that the lesser accessed things are usually placed in that 512MB, however, the GPU will consume that memory if over 3.5GB is consumed, making the segment the hold up to the rest of the card. You can see the disable L2 in the bottom RIGHT, slowing down the 0.5GB underneath
  21. Download GPU-Z (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/) Go to the sensors tab and report the maximum MEMORY USAGE seen. My GTA V uses about 3.5GB of VRAM, anything above that for your GPU will cause extreme frame drops.
  22. Positive for aids then.
  23. Oh. send me your ssds then :)
  24. Yup, is now stable at 60. Shouldn't your card be at 3.0 too because it should support it?
  25. YESSSSS, turned out it was in a different PCIe config. In a bit I may turn off that damn lane power saving.
