Hmmm. good question!!!! I like this one. I hate watching a video when someone screams. the sirens and screaming peds and ambulances are stressful enough without having to listen to someone who barks loudly while they play. 1. Idad99- i like him because he's mellow and really laid back plus he genuinely seems like a nice guy. he tries not to kill peds and stuff 2. AVsports - he is the same as Idad. very calm type 3. Can'tSpeakEnglishGaming - now this guy is a maniac. he's fairly new i suppose. he's foreign and he cant speak english very well (he is learning english by playing games) so it makes for very entertaining videos plus he includes the viewer in his game. so when he takes off to chase a perp he says "let's go guys" so that kinda makes it cool :P i included a link to one of his videos in case anybody wants to check him out:

well for the record my taser is still working. but for those who are having no luck fixing theirs there is an alternative. if you use the K9 you can have him attack people who run from you. they drop their weapon and put their hands up while your dog stands next to them. its by FAR the fastest way to stop a runner. Push the period button while ya aim on the perp and off he goes :D i actually have only used my taser like 3 times since i started playing.

this might sound goofy but what i do is play until my game crashes. then i push cancel when it tries to restart. that way i know when i re load it next time it will start where i crashed.

hmmm...whats this frames per second thing? i've heard it but have no idea where to look to find it

thanks for answering that as i have that issue occassionally. it's always for a call that appears across the bridge and its usually the Gruppe 6 armoured car robbery. let me ask though, would changing some of the settings in the gta iv menu help? like decreasing shadows, etc. or is it strictly a "power" issue with the computer internals. thanks in advance :D

lol funny this topic is here. just last night i was on a call with my partner and my K9 Pickles when a gun fight broke out. i was arresting the suspect and when i turned around my partner and my dog were shooting at each other..i did manage to catch a picture of the dog with the gun. Turns out Pickles went rogue and i had to put him down

yeah that sucks. i also can use the bait car with no problem. i hope you can figure it out. have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the police helper? are you using the new version of lcpdfr?

yeah same here. my phone just pops up randomly here and there once i've started duty. if you get the simple trainer mod you won't need to use your phone for cheats. it lets you basically do anything you want to the game.

i can eek out about 2 hours nowadays. here lately i've come close to crashing but i think its either the callouts script i got or bravehearts script. i honestly don't have a clue but at least now it reboots. that is a big plus!

are you using the police helper mod or are you calling the "in-game" paramedics? I have found the in game ones tend to just drive on by after clearing out two lanes of traffic or flipping on its side. i also have never had the fire department ever stop and put out a fire, regardless of how i call them. if you don't have the police helper i would definitely download it.

yeah i think that would be a good idea. there are already instances where witnesses are used in some crimes so not sure why it couldn't be used for that. although rarely if ever do i actually find the streaker even after talking to the witnesses

So i was watching a video of someone doing the boat patrol and it took almost two hundred years for him to catch that boat. it also took him two hundred years to get from where he was to the dock too. so four hundred years on this one video. it got me to thinking that we need something to help catch that sucker once we get close. i havent done any boat patrols yet because i'm afraid i wont be able to catch em and i'll kill em with a rocket :/ and i have enough mishaps already so i was wondering if anybody had any ideas that would make it a little easier? i was thinking a grappling hook we could shoot over once we get close. or maybe have every boat have an anchor on the side and give us the opportunity to shoot it and make it drop and force the boat to stop. i kinda like that idea to be honest. and since we dont have sirens on the boat yet i'll just do this...

1. i have disabled my ad block on here as well as of right now. 2. instead of contacting a company couldn't someone who runs the site just have some bad ass T shirts made up and sell them himself to members? i would rock an LCPDFR shirt right now!! i'm sure there is a trustworthy way of doing something like that. all would have to do is make a template of what we want and take it to the local T shirt shop. they charge a fee for every color that is used and the cost of the T shirt. I'm sure we could sell some shirts for $20. but if i buy one i want a T shirt badge for ma siggy :)

thanks for the post Lars. i think thats a good idea too. that idea could be good for blocking roads for a funeral procession or VIP coming through the city too. but we're probably wishing for too many things :P keep the ideas coming though cuz ya never know!!

Will repairing his installation replace those without re installing the whole game?

I have had this happen to me in the past. It turned out one of the cars I was trying to replace was saved in the parking spot outside of the safehouse. I had to remove the car from the parking space and save before that vehicle file could be replaced. I've also had cars that simply didn't work for me. So just retrace your steps one car at a time. Hope ya get it fixed :)

Yup I use controller too and I use alt E to clear my status :)
