  1. hello. i'm sorry you haven't been helped in a minute. is your game still playing decently? are you able to get the police radio working? let me know whats going on and i'll help!
  2. alright lets try the easiest things first. remove any mods you have, including ELS and everything that came with it. if LCPDFR does not run after you removed those mods, then uninstall the police mod and re install it. disable your virus protection during download and installation to ensure everything is being installed right. then try to run the police mod again. i am hoping that between those two issues, it should start up. if not, include pics of your main GTA IV folder and your LCPDFR folder and ill try to help a little more :)
  3. okay now are you just getting a log fail? or do you still have all those red lines? you gotta make sure you are following all of those requirements up there line by line. its important. also is GTA IV running just fine with the 1.07 patch before you add the mod? if you can take pics of your entire GTA IV main menu and your LCPDFR folder i can see what is in there and whats not. just be patient and we'll figure it out :D
  4. amazing looking texture!! i love green i admit i've never seen one of these ambulances up close but at least now i can see em drive by me in game lol.
the thing i like about canadian cars is they stick out. they are colorful and bright and these are no different. they are very shiny in game i also checked out your youtube channel and i think you are pretty entertaining. keep up the good work
  5. glad to see you are updating this. there are still quite a few playing LCPDFR so this is nice to see. i still go back and play it occassionally too :P
  6. omg i love the baby blue skins!!!! they look amazing. i cant wait to try them
now THIS is a riot truck!!! we have been waiting for something like this to come along and this will be the one to beat from here on out i can promise that. it's a monster
  7. hello there :) thanks for coming to the forum. now i am not a genuis and i do not understand this particular issue. but i did do a little looking around and came to a video that seems to have helped a few. so maybe check it out and see if it pertains to your situation. if it doesn't help or pertain to you, come back and we will see what else we can do.
  8. hell yeah!! good job bub!! now make sure you make a backup copy of that game ok. you might wanna install some more scripts and would be best to keep a clean copy just in case something else happens
  9. to be honest Z what i tell everyone is to run that mod in another copy of GTA IV. combining all these mods together only makes things harder. if you have room to make a copy of GTA IV just for your firefighter mod..then that is what i do :D because with both mods in the same folder, problem solving is going to be a bitch :D
  10. okay..i'm almost positive your problem is caused by files being replaced that are old. you will need to start over with your installations. uninstall LCPDFR using the uninstall thing in the gta iv main folder. do not install ANYTHING until you are absolutely positive the police mod works. then once it is working, finding your problem will be easy. install scripts one at a time..play with it in game..then install another. when you mass install scripts, you are possibly installing outdated dll files at random. so start with a clean GTA IV. make sure it runs..then install the police mod...make sure it runs..then install ELS..make sure it runs..once you do that you MUST pay attention to all files that come with your scripts. For example, look at your ELS files and your trainer files. they both contain a scripthook file. one is from 2009 and one is from 2011. so, if you install ELS first and then install the trainer and "replace files" then you are basically overwriting the most recent scripthook. so instead of installing all those trainer files in the folder, all you really need to install is trainer.asi and trainer.ini i hope this makes sense. take your time and do the install slowly and you will learn as you go :) pay attention to all files in all folders when ya download them and you will be fine. also i hope this helps :D if not get back to me. 1. Uninstall LCPDFR completely and make sure GTA IV runs correctly. 2. Install LCPDFR 3. Run GTA IV and make sure the police mod runs 4. Install ELS 8.5 installing all files in the folder. 5. Run your game and make sure ELS works 6. Install trainer using ONLY trainer.ini and trainer.asi files 7. Run your game and make sure both ELS and trainer works. 8. Come back and say it worked!!
  11. hello. okay lets try the easiest thing ever first. remove ELS. reinstall LCPDFR. then run the mod. you can't install mods until you know the police mod is working..its doesn't make sense :P so try that and lemme know if that works.
  12. LCPDFR is NOT viral and does not mess up computers. There are a dozen virus protection programs; however, that DO list it as a virus. you must disable your virus protection until you download and install the police mod. I have NEVER heard of anyone ever getting a virus from this mod, but we are used to this particular issue. please give it at try and let us know :)
  13. i can't be sure, but i think you need one that has at least 1.5GB of video memory. that card looks like it only has 1gb. again i'm not a genuis at the tech part :P what kind of comp are you using and what are its specs? i use an HP all in one and i can play GTA V, despite the fact that i shouldnt be able to :P maybe if you get a card, think ahead and get one that will work for GTA V. the game is amazing and runs so much better than LCPDFR. but either one is fun..i have them both still :D we will try to help as much as possible. but, if you still have questions about compatibility, perhaps ask someone on the Rockstar forums. I'm sure someone else has asked the same question.
  14. hello. i wanna help but you will need to install ONLY lcpdfr..no els..no scripts..nothing. there is no way to tell if LCPDFR is the problem or something else. What i would do is start with your clean version of GTA IV. (please always make sure you keep a spare copy of the game laying around in case something breaks). Run GTA IV and make sure it runs perfectly with no crashes..no problems. If your game runs good, then install LCPDFR. Disable any virus protection until you have downloaded and installed the mod into your GTA IV main folder. Then run GTA IV as administrator and once the game starts, press Alt P and see if the police mod loads up (No els, no scripts, no extras). If it doesn't, then please post pictures of your entire GTA IV main folder. If your police mod starts and runs, then you know the issue was more than likely with something that was either omitted or replaced during your first installation. lemme know what happens and we'll go from here :)
  15. now i can't be sure..but i know support for Net framework 4.5.1 ended in December. Try downloading 4.5.2 here and lemme know if it helps. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42643
  16. omg this is almost a 1gb it will take some people forever to download this sucker lol. also good to see ya back on the forum Cod :)
  17. these look great. i haven't gotten into changing any uniforms in game but, since Ric Flair is my hero i guess i'll have to have some North Carolina cops soon enough..need some Charlotte Mecklenburg county cars :D
  18. hmm this seems amazing on paper..but i'm a boob so i don't know if i'll be able to navigate all that. any possible chance of a video sometime to help?
  19. this looks great. i've never seen a Quincy car before. and i love the City of Presidents tag on the back!!! nice job man!!
  20. hello there. few things we can check..but lets start with the most obvious..read this thread and follow the advice. let me know if this helps your situation or not
  21. great job!! glad ya was able to fix it on your own. and i'll keep that that fix in mind..could help someone else later :)
  22. hi ryan. have you got your game working yet? idk what happened but i would think keeping iron man iv in its own GTA IV game would be better than putting it in the same game with lcpdfr. which was the last mod you installed and did everything work before that? if so, i would work backwards :)
  23. hello :) i'm sorry you haven't been helped but i will try my best. is your problem still happening? is it possible you can make a copy of GTA IV without the police mod so that you can play normally from that file?
