  1. I can see you're just stuck up in your weird, xenophobic conspiracy so I'll just stop replying to you, there's no use for me to waste my time on this. So far you have backed your words with NOTHING. You talk about studies, researches, surveys, yet we have not seen the single piece of evidence of what you're saying, not a link towards said studies, not a source from said researches, no references to survey insistutes. Only words. By this logic, I could say I've read studies, researches and surveys that show people hating on muslims are bigotted idiots for 99.9% of the cases. Does it make it true? No. Show us ACTUAL researches, studies and surveys that AREN'T internet videos, and then we'll talk like grown up human beings. Until then, I'll straight up ignore you from now on because there's no point in arguing more on that than it is, you obviously won't change your mind whatsoever even if I prove you by a+b that you're wrong (because you ARE wrong, that's a hard fact). No, I'm not worried to be attacked by random muslims for who I am and what I believe in. No, I'm not worried to be "beheaded" or whatever other attrocities you think happen on a daily basis. Do you know why? Because IT DOESN'T HAPPEN here. Nor in any other european country. You want a proof? Look at your damn window and you'll see it. Go out, meet other people, talk with them, and you'll see it. Not everybody get along, but most people do. Only a few problematic individuals don't, and they aren't enough to change that. Only xenophobic and/or racist people are scared of them. Period.
  2. So, for you to decide it's time to do something about it, you first need to wait until it actually has a direct impact on your life? But the thing is, once it'll have an impact on your life (a decisive one, not only a few more degrees on the thermometer), it'll be too late to change anything about it and we'll be pretty much doomed. That's a very US thing, to think that as long as it doesn't impact you, it's all fine, a very... selfish way of life, which does not surprise me, actually.
  3. Pretty sure global warming and climate change is pretty urgent, but what do I know.
  4. It's not a matter of being free to do whatever or not, or being "forced" to do anything. It's a matter of seeing the bigger picture. Either we restrain ourselves from using very polluting transports and industries, for the sake of future generations, or we keep acting selfish, being like "Pfft, I use a polluting engine if I want too", and we'll be the architects of a rather unfriendly environment for our descendants. Basically, either we do it for the greater good, or we don't for our selfish, personal enjoyment.
  5. The USA are actually the second biggest polluters in the world, right behind China, so don't underestimate how much pollution the US are generating on a worldwide scale, and not only from factories. See, while I understand a point of view like this, I find it very outdated in nowadays setting. Climate change is very real and happening very fast. Global warming is caused by many things, one of them being pollution from transports. While you sure as hell would be enjoying your V8, it'd be one hell of a selfish move to just say "I'll enjoy it if I can, don't care if it's polluting the air and accelerating climate change and global warming. Hey, maybe my grandchildren won't know what a V8 engine sounds like, but they'll know what it did to their ecosystem!" It doesn't need to be democratic. It's a question of life and death for future generations, decisions have to be taken ASAP, there's no need for a vote when it comes to this kind of things.
  6. Oh, so you can guess if people are religious or not just by how they look? Impressive power you've there. Guess what, not all muslims wear robes and let their beards grow down their bellybutton. Actually, only a minority does that. If you can guess if people are religious or not just by their looks, I'm pretty impressed, really. So you've read books and various researches? Well do feel free to quote them then rather than putting biased, hate-mongering Youtube videos, I'm sure we'll all happy to fact-check what those books and studies say. Because so far, based on what you've said, I can confidently said you actually didn't ready any book or researches about this topic, it shows through your pitch. By the way, I'm gay and I haven't been casted off buildings. Get out a little, you'll see the world isn't like what you think it is.
  7. What baffles me even more, is that the officer who shot the woman down "refused to be interrogated by investigators" and is "on a paid leave". Like, what the fuck? If it was a random person who did that, he'd have his ass sat down on the bench of a cell already, without being paid for it. So just because he's a cop, he can just refuse to be interrogated and stay at home, still being paid? He killed a person for eff sake, that's one of the reasons why people lose trust in the police. When one officer does something bad, he's never treated like he has done something bad.
  8. To be fair, most public transports here are working on hybrid engines already, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to have all public transports using inner combustion engines to be fully electric in the future decades. Now for the replacement of every car, that's another problem. Especially if we take into consideration how expensive electric cars are, and how expensive electricity is to begin with. It'd be easily accessible for rich and high middle-classes, but hard to reach for people with a more limited budget. Why, for dog sake, why would you bring immigration into this problematic, why does immigration always have to make its way in every conversation, it's getting ridiculous now.
  9. It was actually France that started the trend on the 6th of July, announcing the will of the government to ban diesel and petrol cars by 2040. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/jul/06/france-ban-petrol-diesel-cars-2040-emmanuel-macron-volvo So I'd say that yes, it's pretty much legitimate. Now comes the question of, is it doable? Questionable.
  10. Guess what, this video is filled with wrong information. And I should know: my own father is in the police, motorized brigade of the national police. Dude, I'll repeat myself, but you're basing your judgement on wrong information and biased internet videos. It's really easy to manipulate the image to make it convey a message, positive or negative, and you're falling right into that. Most videos you posted so far couldn't be farthest from reality. Do you know why they didn't arrest them and simply monitored? Because you can't prosecute someone based on how much you THINK they'll commit a crime. You can't charge people with thought crime, that's all. It's nothing related to not offending people or anything like that, that's just how the legal system is. You can charge people only if you have concrete proof they were either preparing a crime, or when the crime is committed. So again, you base your judgement on wrong or misinterprated information coming from hate-mongering videos and comment sections. Not the most objective part of the internet.
  11. No, it's not enough for you to judge. Do you live in any of those countries? Have you seen police forces in action yourself, rather than in the narrow spectrum of a camera? No. You simply CANNOT have an objective, exhaustive opinion about something just through a couple of videos on the internet. It's not a matter of having differing opinions, it's facts. Police in Europe do not retreat constantly and do not constantly get beaten up. That's a fact and that's simply how it is. You can't choose not to acknowledge it just so you can advance your own agenda.
  12. To be entirely fair: "Homicide is the act of one human killing another. Homicides can be divided into many overlapping legal categories, including murder, manslaughter, justifiable homicide, killing in war, euthanasia, and capital punishment, depending on the circumstances of the death. These different types of homicides are often treated very differently in human societies; some are considered crimes, while others are permitted or even ordered by the legal system." The simplest and most direct definition of a homicide is just that. A human killing another. After that point, that's just semantics. He's talking about the homicide in the broad meaning of the term, while you're talking about the more legal approach of the homicide. Both are correct.
  13. I'm chill, don't worry, it was merely a friendly advice. I'm not moderator here, so I wouldn't have the right to tell you what to do or anything, but it's always better to do some researches on your own prior to asking help on forums, simply to avoid them to be cluttered with questions that already have answers. In your case, the mod you looked for were texture replacements. Textures don't get outdated, so you don't have to fear any of them to be.
  14. https://www.gta5-mods.com/paintjobs/real-california-license-plates It took me less than 5 seconds by typing "GTA V california plates" on Google, you might want to do some researches on your own the next time.
  15. The GPU from GTX 1050 to 1080 have the best price/performance value as of now.
  16. It's easy really. Because they don't retreat and don't get beaten constantly. If you're basing your opinion on Youtube videos, you should reconsider your judgement really.
  17. You're necessarily doing something wrong, because it works for everyone else. Make sure you've all the prerequisite third-party mods like scripthook, advancedhook and the like, as well as all this Microsoft thing installed for advancedhook to work properly.

  19. So, you basically allow yourself to judge the whole police forces of entire countries entirely based on biased, hate-mongering and non-objective Youtube videos. I mean, all is said, there's nothing else to argue after that.
  20. Without mentioning the fact that firing a weapon inside a car is hazardous at best. The cartridge is very hot when ejected from the gun, what if it ignited a seat or an easily inflammable plastic in the vehicle?
  21. I think the LAPD was more infamous for how corrupted they were at some point in history, as well as how merciless and vicious they were. At least that's how they were often depicted here, and even in movies.
  22. Nope. It's a licensed software, you've to buy the license for it. But as I said, it's really not that hard to find it for free if you know where to look on the internet... I'm sure many skin makers did just that, and it's really not risky at all. Up to you in the end. Either you get Photoshop in a not-so-legal way, but you definitely get the best picture editing software on the market, or you go for the free, legal alternative with GIMP as Illusionyary said, which is good, but not as good as Photoshop.
