  1. There's a reason. But it's definitely not legitimate. Overbooking planes is stupid and puts everyone in a bad spot. Except the airlines company because, you know. Money matters more than actual, living people.
  2. Air France isn't any better for that. Actually, it's even worse, let me explain you why. Context: parents divorced when I was a baby, mom got to keep me, I was visiting the dad during holidays and such. Long distance travel, first I was taking the train (as a kid (roughly 6-8 years old)), then I was taking the plane (was faster + getting cheaper). Kids traveling in transports (train or plane) are traveling with a flight attendant specifically taking care of those kids, so they wouldn't get lost or anything, a bit like a teacher accompanying his class during a school trip. One day, I was taking the plane for the holidays. Got into the plane, put to my seat by the flight attendant. Everything was fine. Then, me and a few other kids got dragged out of the plane. We waited for 3 hours, in a single, small waiting room, on uncomfortable seats, without anything to do to pass the time, for them to put us in another plane, who brought us to a different airport to the one we were supposed to go to. I learned when I was older that it was because the company overbooked the plane, but instead of offloading adults who could complain or refuse, they chose to board out kids who didn't even know what was happening. Disgusting.
  3. With $2000 to spend, you can easily get a 1080 and still have largely enough to buy the rest of the rig.
  4. J'te fais confiance pour avoir une base en anglais pour comprendre mon guide.
  5. I doubt I talked about any specific case that happened in any specific location. It was a general statement, that stands true. To me, from what I see and hear from overseas, the racism still very present amongst police ranks (don't worry though, it's not an issue with US police only, it's an issue with most police departments over the world, including here), and their tendency to always draw their guns and shoot before asking questions (that, on the contrary, is a very US issue).
  6. Maybe not, but systemic racial bias tends to irritate people, deteriorate relations between police officer and the population, and increase tension with affected communities, which in turn just makes the whole situation so explosive that only a little spark can trigger a wildfire. You're lacking a bit of objectivity there, mate.
  7. Rien, t'as pas besoin d'y toucher.
  8. At this point you'd have more luck contacting the Rockstar Support than us, if it's only an issue with GTA in particular.
  9. Try changing your DNS to the ones of Google. Many people throughout the world had problems logging on the game (even for offline play) as well as logging on the RSC because Rockstar fucked something up.
  10. If you can't do it on your phone, then you might want to consider logging on a computer to make everything easier.
  11. You just go to your profile and click on Edit profile and it's literally the first thing you can change.
  12. I don't have it, but you can change it yourself in your profile anyway so it doesn't matter much.
  13. No no, the game. For example, if the area gets really crowded (lots of traffic, peds, FX like explosions, all this at once), then my FPS tend to drop around 35 FPS. Otherwise it's pretty stable.
  14. Well I mean, I just have a FX-6100 and a GTX660 (so basically the basic recommended hardware for GTA V), I run the game fine between 35 and 50 FPS depending on the area I'm in, with graphics between medium and high, so that's why I find it weird that the OP has trouble with a FX-6300 and a GTX960. It should run pretty fine, hence I suspect it's less a hardware issue and more a software issue with programs running in the background draining his resources (and maybe also the computer case needing a little cleaning).
  15. No, and it's forbidden to share illegal stuff on these forums. If you want such things you'll have to look by yourself.
  16. Zmodeler. You need to buy a license for it.
  17. I don't get it. You just said that you agree the US should pull out of Syria entirely. But on the other hand, you said this on your very first post on this thread: So, basically the complete opposite. That's inconsistency at its finest. It doesn't make sense.
  18. Well, fighting stuff like ISIS is different from a war. Fighting terrorist organizations, of course everyone will agree they need to be put down, they're endoctrinated, dangerous. When I say war, it's war against another country. Syria, Russia, North Korea, you name it. Do your fellow infantrymen really want to go to war against them? I'm genuinely asking, I really don't know.
  19. I was talking about civilians. Don't know about the US, but here you won't ever hear someone say "Damn I'm so excited to go to war, can't wait to see dead soldiers on TV". Mostly because like the majority of the European countries, we have faced war on our own soil. But I'm pretty convinced that no civilian would beg for war even in Japan. No one wants to see their husband, sons, father, brothers sent to the frontline to be slaughtered. So no, civilians didn't deserve to be nuked. Their government refused to surrender, not them. To make my point easier to understand, imagine that, let's say, the US and North Korea go to war. You're sent to battle, as a soldier. Thing is, the US refuse to surrender after years of conflict. So North Korea drops a nuke on Los Angeles or San Franciso, killing hundreds of thousands of people. Would you say that people living in LA and SF deserved to be nuked? If yes, then I definitely can't understand your point, if not, then you can understand mine. As for soldiers begging for war, they're part of the reason why most people think soldiers are just dumb killing machines, waiting to murder their fellow human beings like animals. War is not fun. War isn't like in video games. Look at how many veterans are scarred for life, both physically and psychologically.
  20. I doubt any civilian of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were "begging" for war. No one begs for war. War is horrible. It kills people dear to you. You'll never see a civilian say "Damn I can't wait for us to go to war, it's amazing". Those people did not deserve to be nuked. Even the soldiers themselves didn't deserve to be nuked, they just follow orders. The Japanese chain of command should have been the target if anything, but the US were too excited to test their little toys in live action, and that's what happened. So no, I'll sound stubborn, but Japanese did NOT deserve this. And the fact that you're convinced Syria should face a similar fate represents everything I hate and I'm afraid of about the US.
  21. Just because a bunch of people support something doesn't mean it was the right thing to do, though. To determine if it was, you've to take a bunch of factors in the equation: -> Was it needed for the international community to react to this chemical strike? Yeah, of course. It's an atrocious thing to do to anyone (putting aside the hypocrisy of the coalition that itself killed a bunch of people as well). -> Was it needed for the US to immediately go for a military action when no one knew exactly who did that and why? Definitely not, there was other means to take things in hands. Just because it's a regime the US happen to dislike doesn't mean they should skip steps and immediately go all militaristic over them. Just like everything else, an investigation has to be conducted to determine who is to blame for this, and once it is determined, then we can take sanctions.
  22. Exactly, they fought before, and then used diplomatic solutions, because it was the best for everyone. Tell me what did the US do in the past? They fought. And they keep fighting. And judging how things are turning now, they'll keep fighting. No diplomatic outcome in sight anytime soon. That's one of the main issues I have. What harm would it have done to actually try to talk to countries members of the UN and NATO BEFORE launching a bunch of missiles? To try and defuse the thing before it explodes? And I'm not talking about a 'Hey, we gonna bomb shit yo' kind of talk. I'm talking about a 'Alright, let's sort out who's responsible for all this and then we'll take action according to that' kind of talk. That's the thing. It's a case of "Shoot first, ask questions later", and it never solved any problem. And it never will. Unless you plan to exterminate half the population of the world until everyone bends to the US will.
  23. That's curious that the OP has trouble with a FX-6300 when I run the game and LSPDFR pretty fine with a FX-6100...
