  1. I don't see what's the problem. People are rehashing the same type of content because 1) they don't like the stuff that's available and make their own version of it; 2) editing an existing mod is the easiest way to get your feet wet with GTA modding. There aren't many experienced modders creating emergency services related content for GTA 5 so awesome HD car mods don't just pop up every other day. If it wasn't for people doing all these smaller projects, you'll see new content being added 2-3 times per month. Would that be better for this community? I think not. Anyone who's not satisfied with the current variety of community created content could might as well get involved instead of simply complaining about the situation.
  2. Horrible news, my heart bleeds for the French people. :( I hope their fucked up understanding of their faith sends them straight to hell for killing all these innocent people!
  3. Well done on the clickbait title, you got my view.
  4. Check of Police Simulator 2. I've played a long time ago the first one and I liked it, I hope the sequel is even better. Check out some youtube videos before buying. It might not be your cup of tea. 911:FR is definitely a good choice, even though you have to micromanage everything. My favorite mod was the Manhattan mod, probably the most ambitious mod ever made for the game, that's why it always crashed after a while :)). Although there was one stable version (maybe v2) and Brooklyn mod also worked great. Very impressive work so be sure to check it out. Unfortunately the mod suffered a major setback, they were very close to a new release but one of the people who made the vehicle models requested that his work not to be used in the new version.

  6. Hmm, I really can't think of any game that has an accurate Bearcat model, there are some armored SWAT trucks in games like BF:Hardline or Saints Row 3 but they are quite different from the real thing. The model you've shown us looks really nice and since we are talking about the LSPD here, there's no rule that says it has to be 100% accurate, I think that model would be a perfect replacement for the Police Riot van.
  7. The grave digging part could work like the coroner in Police Radio mod, which makes the body disappear after the taking photos animation is played and in earlier version it also left a garbage bag where the body was. Also the animations exist, there is a scene in the story where Trevor digs up Michael's grave link I personally really like the idea of being hunted down not just by the police but also revengeful relatives or hired muscle.
  8. I love it! Especially the Liam Nesson part! :)) This could have easily been an official side mission pack for Trevor just like the bounty hunter missions. I don't have the skills to help you out but good idea!
  9. Let's not forget the LAPD also uses the Bearcat, so it could definitely have a place in the LSPDFR world. The Romanian Army also uses a few dozen Vamtacs both unarmored and armored. :) @Cosmo, awesome looking H1 you got there! (should have led with this :D)
  10. You can get the car mod from here: gta5-mods link The LAPD texture is available on this website in a pack I think.
  11. I've edited the lightbar lights texture a little bit, I hope it looks better during daytime. Drag and drop the image file inside police3.ytd (make sure the file name is emerglights_emis).
I don't care if I'm breaking the social norms but I'm giving this mod 5 stars. If anyone needed a reason to get back into LSPDFR, here's a damn good one! Thanks Frank for your relentless efforts to bring top quality content to the our community!
  12. Was this meant to be a private message? :) We're all waiting for the release tonight!
  13. You should talk to Frank (F5544) about the license plate thing. I put unique plate numbers on all skins I make but wouldn't mind seeing completely randomized numbers on custom cars.
  14. Wait till you see the car up close! You'll flip out I'm telling you and I'm speaking from experience. :D
  15. I'm working as fast as I can. :)) Don't despair, it's coming sooner than you think. :)
  16. The model has 2 front(grille) and 2 back (rear window) beside the lightbar. But I don't know if this is the final setup.
  17. I'm fine with a remake of any GTA city or London but I still dream that R* or somebody else will choose Kentucky (Harlan County) and basically make "Justified" the video game. :)) Man I loved that show...
  18. I've already done the LSPD liveries that will come with the car model. But I think he wants to make a LAPD inspired Ford Taurus which has a Fedsig Arjent instead of the Code 3 21TR. I personally tend to agree with him, I'd like all my LSPD vehicles to have LAPD lightbars but I've seen the Code 3 lightbar on an LSPD skin and it looks great! So for the time being I'm happy to add the Taurus with a Code 3 Lightbar to my LSPD vehicle pool.

Los Santos Police Department liveries for LAPD 2010 Charger by AlexTolle. Download the car mod from here: Installation: Replace the "charger_sign_1-4" inside police2.ytd and police2+hi.ytd with a textures from my pack (drag and drop or use the Replace button).
  19. If you are pleased with the results you could release a pack with all FHP textures you've made. Who knows maybe someone else now or in the future is searching for these skins. ;)
