  1. I think the biggest concern I have is regarding the takedowns. We have alwasy been limited on this issue since extra 5 and 6 were coded to come on in primaires. We always had to arrange our TA or takedowns accordingly to be compatible with primaires. This often times made having realistic takedowns obsolete. Lets take the MX7000 lightbar as an example. The LAPD MX7000 does not have flashing CENTER wig wag lights on the light bar itself. The center lights for that light bar are ONLY for spotlight steady takedowns. So before we could never use a realistic looking takedown feature for this bar. I assume this may still be this way since extra 5 and 6 are the setting for takedowns. So correct me if Im wrong here, will I be able to turn on my primary rotators without the extra 5 and 6 coming on? If this were true, then I could have a realistic looking LAPD MX7000 as well a realistic takedown settings. This same issue applied to many if not most vehicles. The CHP Vision light bar also had this same issue. I hope that is fixed. That would be awesome! This is very easy to do and has been done a lot. I have arranged most of the cars I have to already do this for ELS V6. I can use just front lights or just rear lights. In ELS V6 we have 3 lighting options, but the 3rd is harder to get to. This is what they made easier in ELS V7 I believe. Here is another examples of this being done in ELS V6.

Thanks Also re-color corrected and matched all uniforms for closer realism. Whats new in Version 3!!!: The most realistic LAPD uniform out there now has a long sleeve and Jacket option thanks to Cj24. It now has a more realistic darker appearance as well. It is not okay to edit or re-distribute without my permission. ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING! This was completely painted and made by SPITFIRE7 and Custo helped edit so that black sleeves would match with black face and white sleeves would match with white face. Cj24 added textures for the long sleeve and jacket. Thank you guys. See READ ME for installation instructions. SPITFIRE7's_Most_Realistic_LAPD_Uniform_ver._3.1.rar
  2. I do have a simple Native Trainer, but a much more simple one where it doesn't give me the option to mute the voice. So any way to do this in the FR ini or the dll file?
  3. I think I already did this a long time ago. Is there something different you are doing? Have a look at my mod made over a year ago. Its the LAPD uniform with short sleeves mod.
  4. If you have the car with the lights on it and everything I can edit the lights in a realistic way. I have a actually been looking for a NYPD Impala to make the lights realistic with since no one has done it yet. Contact me.
  5. You're welcome guys, glad you like it.

Do you ever get tired of the comments the pedestrians yell out or tired of the constant bad humor and lame jokes when you are trying to play a serious game? Or when you honk your horn everyone looks at you and stops and yells at you? Well not anymore. I made this mod because I was tired of all that and the pedestrians just got annoying. So pedestrians no longer yell out stupid humorous stuff or vulgar stuff. No more hot dog stand vendor yelling either. Everyone pretty much just leavers you alone. People don't yell or scream when you honk your horn now either. This will make the game more realistic in my personal opinion. So if you get tired of the same old jokes and comments being yelled out, then install my mod. I have removed the profanity and sex jokes too only from pedestrians. Radio still has them. Now you can show your little nephew the fire truck and crank that siren without a thousand profane words coming out from every side of the street at you. Or play with confidence with your mom and dad standing right next to you. Enjoy! INSTALLATION: First make backups. Just put these three files into your GTAIV/Common/data folder and overwrite and replace.
  6. I keep getting the error "Missing Objects loaded."
  7. I was never having this problem until I put a new part on an existing car. This then game me the RC20 error. I read through here and thanks CJ24. I took your advice and I just started new and re-imported the textures and then the wft. Saved over existing save file and then exported over existing file. This seemed to have worked. I hope it lasts because this error didn't seem to happen every time. It would seem to come every 2 times of successful play. So crossing my fingers.
  8. Guys what would cause my policehelper to not respond after I tried reinstalling windows live, and Social Club? So when I active policehelper it comes up, but I just cant move the mouse. The game pauses. It doesn't crash or freeze because I can still go to the exit screen and quit the game. Policehelper worked for me ever since I fist DLed and over several months. I wanted to do multiplayer again so I installed windows live and social club again. I then took out my xlive files from the game directory. I the also installed a fresh new copy of GTAIV on another harddrive on my computer. All this for nothing. I didn't like the multiplayer and it was glitchy on my system. I put xlive back in and now my Policehelper doesn't work. I reinstalled police helper and still the same pause lock up. Please help. Everything else in the game is working fine and like before except police helper. Thanks for the help.
  9. Pretty cool, thats actually my home town. Nice work. I dont know if you were around back then, but that would be neat to see the old metallic blue versions back in 92.
  10. You guys were looking for that realistic pattern? Well I did it for you. check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bZc4Gm0nh8&feature=youtu.be
  11. What program are you using to change the lights?
  12. Okay I have an idea from you. For components 7, 8, 9 turn off front blue. For component 9 turn off rear red. That should be it. That would be it or a good close resemblance of what they really do. And option C1 works for secondaries and would give the right pattern. I think this is as close as we are going to get. Please try it!!! So front would be solid reds and rear would be blue and amber flashing.
  13. Thanks for giving me credit for the research. Yeah what Sgt. Kanyo was saying was all true. Although if there was any other option you could do for secondaries that would be truly cool. I know you cant get the rear to be amber and blue directional arrow because of the way they are connected and placed, but having just solid reds in the front would make this more realistic and more versatile to use because to be honest with you I see solid red front most of the time and rarely full code3. They seem to keep code3 off most of the time for everything except high speed chases. Even pulling someone over they first do just rear advisor to get people behind to slow down then the solid reds in front when its safe. If they still dont pull over then he goes full code3 no siren. Then siren if he's not stopping. This is all quoted from a real CHP officer I worked with. They try to stay as inconspicuous as possible. They dont want to effect other drivers' attention. So they stay low key most of the time and turn siren or code3 off as soon as they can. Solid red front and rear arrow left advisor is always the routine. Kanyo I would still try to do something or anything to get closer to this routine since its what you will see every time you see a CHP in California. I doubt you will ever see a code3 CHP in real life for quite a while. If just parked for construction or something on the road, fronts off, and blue amber flash back and forth in the rear. Its still cool what you are doing and I dont want to sound condescending on your work because its great. I personally just like options from crazy code3 to the least subtle in secondary. But u'd the boss so thanks again for another cool car and for listening.
  14. I see. Then its ELS that is limiting us. Darn. What did you mean by in the ELS menu there is the wigwags? Are you talking about the bright white takedown lights or is there something else Im missing? This would turn all the reads on I believe. I did make those videos. It was fun. I work with the police and CHP most of the time at my job.
  15. Its a movie prop car lol jk. Thats been taken care of years ago, I just still had the picture in the bunch. Very observatory.
  16. I do want to acknowledge that I believe you said it was impossible to make the blue light steady on and then the advisor moving to the left. Can you confirm that?
  17. okay I have some really good info for you. I did my research. I work with LAPD and CHP all the time. So the first setting is just B--AAA-. The second setting is B-AAA-R. This last thing I wanted to confirm with the CHP because I wasn't sure myself. I asked, "when you are stopped on the side of the road for traffic stops or whatever, which settings do you put on?" He told me they are trained to pull the car over and immediately turn on just the front solid reds by state law and also the rear directional by law. This is because if someone hits them in the rear they are asked "Did you have your directional lights on?" If not, then the defendant can use that as an excuse in court. This is what they are trained to do and if you want to go for absolute realism then there's your proof. See the light tutorial. This CHP officer uses the directional rear bar when pulled over for the secondaries Interior light tutorial. All this to say, I still think the secondaries should be different than the primaries. Such as a directional or flashing amber and blue. Preferrable the directional. I understand it makes a flash in the front, but maybe just got blue and amber flash.
  18. Also to quote GTApoliceGUY123 regarding the placement of the light bar, this video I took shows the light bar is just above the rear break light or just barely touching. Maybe an update in version 2 please?
  19. Im all for this. My run key is the same as the call out key so Im so tired of hearing him say "Soft and Baby Sh** in baby oil" a thousand times. Is there any way I can just shut up the voice all together? Can I delete audio files within FR folder or somewhere?
