  1. To be honest, I think this place is already polluted to some degree, most websites are. But that's what happens to every growing online community. More members = more problems. That can be balanced by increasing the staffing, or adding more rules/restrictions (which isn't always the best thing). If the increase in members is composed of good, mature members, then that wouldn't be a problem at all. More attention is always good for a website, that's what I would think. As long as the increase in content is good content, not bad, or "polluted' content, as you said.
  2. I'd say so. If he linked to it (which he didn't do) it would be more likely. Edit: NVM, he did link to it.
  3. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  4. You come on the official LCPDFR forum and ask this? Everyone is going to say the same thing, unless they're trolling.
  5. I wouldn't lose all hope. LCPDFR could evolve into something much bigger than we expect. Though unlikely, it's always good to have a broad view.
  6. There isn't one for GTA IV at the moment. Otherwise, if you want a good detective game, play L.A. Noire. It's published by R* Games (the creators of GTA) and it's a sandbox game as well. That's close as you can get.

  8. You mean that they're so common, it makes them bland? I think they look stylish, but they are obsolete. Still sharp though.
  9. The Caprice wasn't much faster than the CVPI, and wasn't that much more durable than a CVPI. The CVPI looks better (IMO) as well, so I don't know how it was cool enough to go on the list and the CVPI wasn't. The Caprice looks like a bathtub on wheels, but it is a good car.
  10. What's the equivalent of A-07 and C-01 in ELS V7? Also - How do I make all the lights completely solid (steady burn) as seen in the preview?
  11. Okay, I'm going to say this to make myself feel better. What the fuck were they thinking? Is it possible that another network could pick them up?

  13. Good game. But not enough checkpoints in the first mission. Don't start it unless you have a good open hour in front of you. There's only like 3 checkpoints in the first mission. If you turn the game off, you'll have to start from the beginning the next time you start it up. Otherwise, it was a good way of mixing Far Cry 3 up, and turning it into something we've never really seen before; use of 2D 80's style videogame cut scenes, mixed with gorgeous, lush, 3D graphics in actual gameplay. The red scan lines can be a bit annoying, but you'll get used to it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the base Far Cry 3.
  14. Looks like we won't need ELS for GTA V.

  17. I have similar specs (except I have a GTX 680 Superclocked, and 12 GB of RAM, and an i7 960 @ 3.2), and I get the occasional pop-in, but not to the point where it's a distraction. Mostly in high-load areas, such as the area near East Borough Bridge. But I have vehicle density at 100, so if I lowered it, I probably wouldn't get it at all. I think you'll be fine.
  18. Congrats. But I'm having trouble understanding whether it's 70,000 or 80,000. Shouldn't it say 80,000 on the front page, rather than 70,000? Sorry if I look like an idiot.
  19. Awesome. It's been a while since we've had a trailer. Now we get three new trailers.
  20. No. You need GTA IV. LCPDFR is a modification for Grand Theft Auto IV, so you can't run LCPDFR without it. Make sure your PC is powerful enough to run it before you buy it.

  22. I'm guessing that if your screen resolution is low, then the in game text will be low quality as well.
