New mod suggestion: COPS ON ALERT
COPS ON ALERT Hi guys, I have a mod suggestion and would like to know who thinks its a good idea! The idea behind this mod is extremely simple: 1) a random attacker(s) may try to vandalize your police car while your in it 2) while you just happen to be walking down a bad neighborhood, someone tries to gun you down (if you have your gun in your hand, then a higher chance of this happening) 3) the attacker(s) can use both lethal or non-lethal weapons 4) drive-by shooting is another good idea either while you are in or out of your car 5) Attacks can happen both while you are driving or simply parked 6) The attacker(s) could either be on foot or in a vehicle 7) If the attacker(s) is in a vehicle, maybe he or she will try to crash into your patrol car (if you're in your car) or run you over (if your outside your car) 8) A pedestrian just comes up to you or your window, seeking help of some sort, like directions or something, and then suddenly just stabs/shoots you. Or in other cases, the pedestrian just is really looking for directions and does not attack you at all. 9) These attacks can occur when you are in a traffic stop as well meaning some other pedestrian, not the driver you pulled over, attacks you while you are standing next to the vehicle you pulled over. The whole idea is for an officer to be on alert at all times instead of just waiting for calls and snoozing away in his or her patrol car. I think it adds a sense of realism since a cop's life is always in danger even when not on an active call. For maximum immersion, the attacker(s) should not be blipped in the game radar/map so you are not already expecting it, kind of breaks immersion if the attacker is blipped. A lot of different scenarios can be played out here; all you need is imagination. Because the nature of nearly all the callouts is the same i.e. the cop gets a call and has to go somewhere to respond to it, how about this time we change it up a bit: the cop doesn't have to go anywhere, rather the attacker/suspect comes to him instead and completely out of the blue? If you think this is a good idea, kindly reply and if you have any suggestions on how to improve it, please feel free. I'm not a modder myself but if some other modder thinks its possible to script it and has free time on his/her hands, that would be great.

NaturalVision Evolved Crashing LSPDFR
Did you change the keybinding of ragehook console by any chance? Do you see any ragehook log file in your main GTA V directory? If so, does it indicate any crashes? You can set LSPDFR to automatically load as soon as rage hook hooks into the game too so you don't have to use the console to load it.

Automatic Siren Cutout
Great plugin! No lags or crashes for me. Very simple and easy to use. ELS should have built in this feature.

Disable all suspect blips while keeping radar on
I see. Yes I recall some callouts allowing that feature but sadly I don't think it is the norm since the ones I have installed do not have any relevant options in their ini files.

NaturalVision Evolved Crashing LSPDFR
You should start the normal game first, the ENB when installed, will hook into it automatically, you will see the notice on the top left hand corner. After the game loads into the main menu screen, then you should start ragehook plugin, and give it a few moments to hook into the game. Once that is done, then you hit story mode and it will load LSPDFR just fine.

Disable all suspect blips while keeping radar on
Hi, I am wondering if it's possible to disable all suspect blips for immersion while keeping the radar map. Realism sort of fades away when you already know where/who the suspects are during a shootout or when arriving on scene.

FPS Locked at 30-40 FPS No Matter What Graphics Settings. Wrong Forum Page
I used to have a sjmilar problem. Basically what I did was I had to install each callout one by one and load LSPDFR, force duty and watch the FPS. Usually it's one single callout or two that drops the FPS down to the 40s no matter how powerful your system is. So what you should do is simply take out all the callout dll files from the lspdfr plugin callout folder, then put them back in one by one. Make sure you unload LSPDFR before putting each dll in. Once you put one dll back in, go back to the game, load up lspdfr via the ragehook console, and then forceduty. Watch the FPS, if it drops too much (i.e. to the 40s), then you found your culprit. If the FPS remains stable and reasonable, unload LSPDFR from the console, put in the next callout dll, go back to the game, load LSPDFR again, then force duty. Before you do this whole procedure, make sure you add "Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = true" to the bottom of your LSPDFR ini file first as this allows you to load and unload LSPDFR from ragehook console as many times as needed (typically without this option, you can load and unload LSPDFR for a maximum of 5-6 times or so before it crashes and you have to restart the entire game). Hope that helps.

NaturalVision Evolved Crashing LSPDFR
Actually you can still play with the latest ENB, just start the normal GTA V first, let it fully load into the main menu, that start the ragehook plugin. The intent here is to not let both ENB and ragehook try to hook into the game engine at the same time, so let the ENB hook into the game first and then starting Ragehook afterwards. Always worked for me.

UnitedCallouts
Hi, Just wanted to report the following error in case you wanted to take a look at it, I simply reloaded LSPDFR after the crash and don't mind playing with the plugin as is. I pasted the relevant excerpt of the log file for the benefit of the author for future debugging if it is in the works. Hi, Sadly, the base mod, the actual plugin for the strobes no longer works, so these patterns won't either.

Stop the Ped AI arrests
I appreciate all the suggestions; didn't expect so many replies. I don't mind living with Officer81's suggestion and having to manually double press E for the suspect that I arrested. Thanks a lot everyone! Happy New Year in advance!

Stop the Ped AI arrests
Hi all, Is there a way to let LSPDFR 0.4 AI to haul of suspects that are arrested instead of having stop the ped take over their arrests as well? At times when there are several suspects, some of them get arrested by the AI cops but they are not taken away because they are under the control of stop the ped after their AI arrests. I want stop the ped to take over MY arrests only, not by AI cops as well. Each AI arrested suspect needs me to walk up to them and deal with them myself and it gets a bit much when there are too many suspects spread over a wide area after a long foot chase. I am aware of the take over all arrests option in stop the ped configuration but that also takes over the AI arrests; I am looking for a normal AI arrest while mine is taken over by stop the ped. Thanks!

EUPFR Basic Configurations
Does this work with the latest LSPDFR 0.4.6 considering that the new fire department EMS was added to the backup menu?

Does ScripthookV consume FPS?
Hi guys, As per the title, my question is self explanatory. I ran the in game benchmark several times and on average got about a 13 FPS improvement without scripthookv installed in GTA V. My system is an i7-9750H and RTX 2080 Max Q. Is it normal for scripthookV to consume that much FPS?

OpenIV doesn't update his own files.
I think we have to wait for OpenIV to update its asi loader and dll files. Several other people on the OpenIV related forums are reporting similar issues. https://gtaforums.com/topic/941475-openiv-asi-manager-not-updating/ https://gtaforums.com/topic/941450-openiv-asi-manger-issue/

OpenIV Asi updater not working
I'm getting the same problem as well; kept updating the ASI and dll files via OpenIV but the game keeps crashing even without any mods folder. It seems that the dll files themselves are causing the crash regardless of having a mod folder or not; I tested it on a clean install of the game.

GTA V Ray tracing and ENB
Hi everyone, I was hoping if someone was able to get the latest version of ENB working with the ray tracing shaders for reshade (version 4). I have had no luck getting both to work together; ENB never hooks into the game when reshade is present. The only lucky combination I had was using the NVR ENB + NVR Reshade preset (doesn't include ray tracing) but that is because, I assume, the creator had modified the configuration so that they both can work in tandem with each other. Even after modifying the enblocal configuration files and playing around with the ray tracing reshade dll names, it still did not work for me. Thank you; I'm looking forward to your helpful suggestions.

LSPDFR+ EUP Fire Truck/Firefighter
Hi all, Is there anyway to call for a fire truck through LSPDFR backup menu? I am using EUP as well and do not see any agency in either the default LSPDFR agency config or EUP config. I added firetruck to the medical agencies in LSPDFR + EUP custom agency configs but firetrucks or firefighters never show. I was using better ems for a while but I am trying to cut down how many external plugins in favor of native LSPDFR functions.

Car Braking + Tire Skidding Sound
Hi all, For those who play on PC without controllers, it is noticeable that hitting the brakes button forces the car to slam the brakes and the tires skid on the road and leaves burn marks on the road. Moreover, the tires screeching sound is a real nuisance. I wanted to know if anyone knows which audio file(s) are responsible for this sound so I can mute it. I know there are mods to modify the throttle, acceleration and deceleration speeds of vehicles, but the I am simply looking to remove the audio of the tires skidding when applying the brakes on PC platforms. Thank you. P.S. I also play with a controller at times but would still like to fix the keyboard driving.
