  1. aka "The Lieutenant" Has nothing to do with me personally. I'm just a big Halo nerd, and in the novelization of Halo: CE there was a Marine Lieutenant who was referred to as "The Loot". I liked that abbreviation, snagged it for Xbox Live back around when Halo 2 came out. Not really my primary SN, but I use it mostly relating to gaming.
  2. Is there a vehicles.ide line? It's either that or handling.
  3. They look so wonderful. Such a shame that I can't get a stable run of the game, even with a new system and only using LCPDFR and ELS, plus your earlier ELS pack, on a clean install of both EFLC and GTAIV.
  4. As others said, there is a way to set any ped wanted that you can customize. As for the reckless driver, I wish that other cops would attempt a traffic stop if they saw them first.
  5. At least it's something they worked out for GTAV. If you're at a stop light (and maybe stop signs), cars won't try to get past unless you sit there past your time to go. They don't give you much of a chance to go at a green light before they lay on the horn, though.
  6. You could switch it with police or police 2 in the cargrp.dat's "POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS" line. I believe the first two cars are the ones that get spawned in traffic, and then the next two are probably spawned at three stars, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
  7. Yard, looks like the ACFD skin didn't make it in. The only Alderney skins I see are North Tudor and Westdyke. There's two FDLC skins in the texture file, which are identical except for the text and flag on the front of the second one; it collides with the front lights.
  8. But there may be Cops N Crooks. A very slight, unconfirmed, completely speculative with little evidence, maybe.
  9. Leaving an area completely blank allows ALL liveries to spawn, so if you don't want the Alderney livery to spawn, you have to put a line with all the other liveries you actually want there.
  10. Well, there's a problem. The default INI only has Alderney areas set up, so everywhere else will be random. Why liveries are constantly changing, I'm not sure. I figure it's set to only set liveries once, and probably a certain minimum distance away.
  11. Haven't run in to those issues myself. Can you post your INI file?
  12. First occured while responding to a drunken disturbance callout in the Exchange, just after I pressed the "/" key to mute the siren while using ELS Express mode. Second happened after going on duty at the north Alderney station, immediately during the car selection. Logs.zip A third during a pursuit. Crash3.zip
  13. Ah. I figured it was just the main key that needed to be disabled.

  17. Haven't checked in game, so just going by the gif, but could the lights be tweaked to something like this?
  18. I saw it myself when I was trying to edit ped relationships to make gang members fight. I'd revert back to earlier settings when they didn't, but when I'd load the game back up, they still would. Deleting my save file got it back to normal. There was also a graphics tweak I used on my old system where the creator said to delete saves and settings because some of those were kept in save files, too.
  19. Back when I was on dial-up years ago, Steam was a no-go for distribution. But it ended up being a life-saver when my second hand HL2 was missing a disc; Steam installed the missing files automatically when I took my PC to a friends house. I know it's a failure point in the future if the service goes down or my account gets burned, but it's a convenience that's nice to have, plus deals are great.
  20. Well, you have to complete the first mission for the game to be open to you. I've never had it crash when starting a new game, though. Save files also bake-in a lot of things, and any time you change files, you should delete your saves and settings.
  21. Sounds great. I hope I can have better luck with the new version and my new system. Other than disabling the foot chase events, are there any other mod or control settings that are still missing from the 1.0c INI file?
