  1. LSPDFR has a persistence feature built in for the last vehicle you entered, so they shouldn't just disappear.
  2. All files in the root Grand Theft Auto V folder, as usual.
  3. @Sam So, I need some clarification on some of the settings that can be used for backup peds. LSPDFR component name = OpenIV component name comp_accessories = accs comp_decals = decl comp_hair = hair comp_hands = hand comp_??? = head comp_shirtoverlay = jbib? comp_pants = lowr comp_tasks = task comp_shirt = uppr comp_face = ??? comp_beard = ??? comp_shoes = ??? comp_eyes = ??? Props prop_head = just hats? (OpenIV still only displays hashes for ped props so no names are visible) Is there a value for glasses? And are helmets counted separately and only controlled by helmet="True/False"? Does the RandomizeProps option only do hats and glasses, or does it randomize the other components, too? Are there options in RPH itself that haven't been included in LSPDFR? @PNWParksFan Do you use all the same options in Custom Backup?
  4. Add the WEAPONS section after the PEDS section, just like the other entries are set up.
  5. Copy it from one of the other entries.
  6. You can use Arrest Manager for that and more. This is probably caused by the way LSPDFR handles gun belts. I assume it's trying to avoid cops spawning with the empty holster, but it interferes with 3rd-party scripts setting task options, and apparently it's own settings (which is odd since I know calling LocalSWAT always gave the vests just fine). There's some patches of land here and there that don't register as they should, so you'll get the wrong units spawning. Happens for the game's wanted spawning, also.
  7. You need to download the version of the Scripthook that is linked at the bottom of the description; that should fix the issue.
  8. New lore ambulances of any kind are appreciated, as there's a distinct lack of high-quality ones.
  9. Are you talking LSPDFR or the games Wanted system? For LSPDFR, you'd just change the number of peds in the backup.xml for the vehicle set it's in to at least 6. For the default Wanted system, it would take scripting to do something like that. Currently, only models named Crusader, FBI2, and Sheriff2 work with the default dispatching system for SWAT. You can add any vehicle as that name and it should work, but adding new ones is not possible until more files are un-encrypted in OpenIV. One way around this is to add the vehicle set as a Police Car disptach; however, it only allows two occupants for most vehicles, except for FBI it seems.
  10. Right, it was a suggestion to deal with that in the future. Feels kind of dumb to suggest since it's so obvious, really.
  11. This is how the script overrides the default backup menu if you set it to the same key/button. If you use a different key, you might as well disable the option since you wouldn't need it.
  12. Basically that can be said "the latest patchday#ng archive that includes a vehicles.rpf". Also, if you use say RDE, anything you install in rdevehicles.rpf will load over anything else.
  13. Hadn't got around to posting this yet. Perhaps if the vehicle is in motion, maybe over a certain low speed, this script won't affect leaving a car.
  14. LAFD runs Paramedic Assessment Engines depending on the needs of an area, many times to add paramedic capabilities to a station without a full Paramedic Ambulance, or simply to add more capability, but many engines don't have a paramedic on-board. All LAFD firefighters are EMT trained, yes, and the Paramedic Firefighters are all fully trained in both areas (they'll wear the same bunker gear when the need arises, probably with markings denoting them as Paramedics). It's just a detail that would be nice to at least have the option of; your initial idea is great already.
  15. The largest areas, for the city, counties, and certain unclaimed areas, are all listed in the "Counties" column in the spreadsheet: "LosSantos", "LosSantosCounty", "BlaineCounty" and "SanAndreas". For any specific area, either the name in the "Game Name" column or the "Real Area Name" column work for those. Still was missing the ">" on the police3 line, and missing a <Vehicles> tag in the set with FIB. Give this a try. I'd suggest getting Notepad++ or similar text editing programs if you aren't using one, as they usually have visual indications when certain code isn't set up correctly.
  16. It's be nice to have the ability to represent the Paramedic Assessment system for Engines, so we could have the chance of an engine showing up with a Paramedic on board. That's get immediate attention to injuries without having to wait for the ambulance, or just to have an additional trained person on-scene.
  17. An option to use sub-menus. Personally, i think just using the main menu works well enough, though that might depend on how many categories are added and maybe what screen resolution the game is running in.
  18. Your POLICE3 vehicle line is missing a closing bracket. Several things: Is that long list of areas supposed to be the whole city? You should really just use LosSantos as an area name instead. Logging will be better if you make unique nicknames for each entry. Assuming you've finished setting them up, your two NooseSWAT entries are conflicting because they are both set to _ALL_, so the last one will never be chosen. Add the additional one as another vehicle set and then it will work.
  19. That's how the plugin "overrides" the default backup menu (for when you set the same key/button): opening the interaction menu closes the LSPDFR backup menu, so opening and closing that leaves you with only the Custom Backup menu, in theory. In practice, it can be a bit weird with how inputs are detected..
  20. A modified vehicles.meta is included in RDE, so make the needed changes in that. You can use the carvariations.meta in the RDE archive to add the needed entry, and then use the rdevehicles.rpf to place the actual vehicle model and texture files (this especially since RDE will overwrite any files installed anywhere else).
  21. There are no models you can really use like normal. Everything in this pack is meant to be used with the GTA Online character models. They are not normal peds, and it would take a lot of work to use them otherwise.
  22. You have an extra </BackupRegion> after </VehicleSet> to start with, so that's probably messing it up. Actually, it's probably more the </VehicleSet> being in the wrong place in the first place. That should come after the weapons section, so it should look like this: <BackupRegion nickname="NOOSE HQ"> <BackupAreas> <Area>_ALL_</Area> </BackupAreas> <VehicleSet> <Vehicles> <Vehicle>insurgent</Vehicle> </Vehicles> <Peds> <Ped prop_head="0">s_m_y_marine_03</Ped> </Peds> <NumPeds min="2" max="4" /> <Weapons> <Weapon chance="100">WEAPON_CARBINERIFLE</Weapon> <Weapon chance="10">WEAPON_HEAVYSNIPER</Weapon> <Weapon chance="10">WEAPON_SMOKEGRENADE</Weapon> <Weapon chance="10">WEAPON_ASSAULTSHOTGUN</Weapon> </Weapons> </VehicleSet> </BackupRegion> You should also use the mod thread if you need support..
  23. Change IsArmed to false in the entry and that will probably stop them from using the Buzzard's weapons.
  24. Air support is only available during pursuits.
  25. Thanks for the effort you put into this. It's how the backup settings should have always been! Note: I use a modified RDE (some model name changes), plus a few extra misc additions. CustomBackup.xml
