An officer was fired for choosing not to shoot a distraught suspect
Here's an older and more detailed CNN article on the same topic. It was linked in Kallus' quotes. Link:https://www.cnn.com/2017/05/11/us/wv-cop-fired-for-not-shooting--lawsuit/

UltraSACAD | For FiveM, LSPDFR, Console and more!
Since the oldest operating system that can run GTA V is Windows Vista 64-bit Service Pack 2, I think the prerequisite operating system should be changed to reflect that. I doubt that most, if not all, FiveM police RPers are checking their CAD on a PC that is separate from their main one.

AverageCallouts [WIP]
This callout pack is okay, but I found a bug. In the carjacking callout, a vehicle pursuit ensued. When the suspect, one Brit Mason, attempted to back into me when blocked in, I fired some rounds that hit the windshield and missed him. I arrested him after he bailed out of the car, and part of the Code 4 notification said,"The suspect has been killed." even though he was obviously alive. I forgot to screenshot it, but it happened.

OJManhunt - West Vinewood Active Search & Containment, Better Search Squad
The callout is very good. I do have one suggestion, though. Before a type of search is chosen, the details of the wanted suspect should be shown first. That way, I can make an informed decision based on the severity of the suspect's crimes.

RPH crashes when I attempt to get into a vehicle
When I attempted to play LSPDFR as a Park Ranger, I spawned the Ranger version of the Granger via the RPH console. When I attempted to enter the vehicle, it crashes. Is there a way to fix or prevent this problem? Vehicle models that cause crashes when attempting to enter: POLICEB SHERIFF2 FBI2 PRANGER

The Three Stooges
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
Yesterday, I was checking the Dream View Motel in Paleto Bay for suspicious activity when I encountered these three men. What are the two things that they have in common? They were all born in the 70s and had warrants. Alex Williams (the only suspect not wearing a hoodie) was blocking the steps while the two other men, Milan Vadislav and Joe Grant, were eyeing me from when I exited my police car to when I stopped them. Williams also had an odor of alcohol on his breath. Side note: The blue radius and the orange dot is on the minimap because of a callout attempt that crashed LSPDFR before I restarted it and took this screenshot. L-to-R: Joe Grant, Milan Vadislav, Alex Williams -

Bystander records arrest
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
The guy in the blue shirt was taking a photo or video of an arrest by another officer at shotgun-point before I took this screenshot. The suspect was part of the Families Gang and participated in a hit squad against me during an ALPR callout. When I saw him fleeing, I tapped him with my car and he fell down. The blue shirt guy probably thinks that he caught police brutality on video. -

From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
I arrested a suspect near the water of the Alamo Sea. When I called for transport, a Police Boat with a Coast Guard unit showed up and took him. I didn't know Arrest Manager had that as a transport option. -
Anthony Fantano won't be pleased!
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
Responded to a silent alarm call in East Vinewood, and look who I found as the getaway driver! Cal Chuchesta, himself. When I detained him, he gave me the name of "Brock Bishock", which is obviously a fake name. His friend was arrested for resisting arrest, burglary, and possession of stolen cash. Chuchesta was arrested for aiding and abetting, along with the possession of burglary tools found in an Issi's trunk. -
Lojack System - "Recover the stolen vehicle"
With this plugin, I can search for stolen vehicles on a police motorcycle without unrealistically enabling the ALPR. I can also detect stolen tractors without running the nonexistent "plate".

Police Brutality
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
For those wondering what the context of this image is, here's a rundown: I was on a shift as an SAHP officer when I received a 911 call of a robbery at the 24/7 supermarket in the Tataviam Mountains rest stop. I peeked from some bushes and noticed one robber holding the clerk at gunpoint. I called for several other Highway Patrol units, along with a SWAT team. As I got closer, the suspect threatened to kill both the clerk and me if I moved any more forward. As backup arrived, I attempted to make him surrender at gunpoint, but he turned his weapon on me. There was a brief shootout between him and the other officers. When he shot one of my backup units, I moved out of cover and fired. One round entered his arm, which caused him to drop his gun. Finally, he attempted to run with a smartphone in his right ear, and I pistol-whipped him. Shortly after, the backup Highway Patrol officers started beating the body with their nightsticks. If the bullets and the pistol-whipping did not kill him, the batons probably finished him off. Unfortunately, I quit out of the game before EMS showed up. -
AKs and American Police
For the G36 and UMP45s, are they used by the Sheriff SWAT teams or are they actually used as patrol weapons?

I can understand where you are coming from, but I primarily shared this because most people don't know about this.

AKs and American Police
I was browsing around on the internet, and I found this interesting gem. Apparently, police officers belonging to the North Slope Borough of Alaska are actually using semi-automatic AK rifles as a patrol rifle. They prefer these rifles over the AR series because of the AK's sturdiness in extremely cold climates. They also prefer these rifles because the 7.62 rounds take down larger animals faster than the AR's 5.56 rounds. Thoughts? Keep in mind that the first article is from early 2016, so it might be outdated. An Honest Mistake
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
I was patrolling the Misson Row/Pillbox Hill area and came across a Felon tailgating a motorcycle. I pulled it over and ran the plate, which came back as a possible stolen vehicle. After a quick felony stop, the driver identified himself as Thomas King. I checked the plate on the car via the computer and found out that he was actually the registered owner of the car. Finally, I let him go without frisking him, not wanting to cause any more trouble for his day. -
Getting a Repeat Offender off the streets
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
I was patrolling around West Vinewood when I saw a white Felon run over a man crossing the street. It then made an illegal turn, which caused me to follow it. I ran the plate and performed a felony traffic stop. The driver, who was also the RO, was identified as Rachle Garcia. Running this name on dispatch revealed that she was on parole for Aggravated Animal Cruelty. I searched her person and found a baggie of methamphetamine. Searching the car, however, did not reveal any other illegal items. She is currently being charged with vehicular assault, hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance, and violation of parole. -
The civilian being taken to the hospital
From the album: LSPDFR Patrols
Responded to a road rage incident in progress near West Vinewood. The victim was blocked between the suspect's car and a wall. When the suspect saw me, he attempted to flee from the incident, hitting an innocent bystander in the process. When I tried to get him out of the vehicle, he drove straight towards me, causing me to open fire. The bystander, identified as Julia Harper, is fortunately alive and is currently being treated at Mt.Zonah Medical Center.
