Fatal Police Shooting Sparks Unrest
I said I would drive through the line and if they don't move from in front of the car, they could end up being shoved out of the way or falling forward onto the hood of my car. And yes, I'd turn over and have a good nights rest later that evening. People decided that blocking a major interstate was a good idea, and I defied their act civil disobedience. A win/win situation in my eyes. I support anti-police brutality protests, but standing in the middle of the street and making people late isn't acceptable. Glad they got charged and arrested. It's very hard for me to take anyone seriously that thinks standing on the interstate is a good idea.

Not sure what you want me to say. This isn't kindergarten, go out and see what you can do to help yourself.

You're just turning this into something it really doesn't need to be. That's why I've always ignored your posts in political topics like this. You misunderstand what I say and twist my words to make me seem crazy. That's someone I would prefer not to debate with. If you disagree with my views and opinions that's perfectly fine, but you never seem to actually understand what I'm saying. Everyone else here did.

I don't hate people that are mistreated by the police, I've never heard of anyone hating as a result of that. I hate people that think blocking a busy interstate will prove their point. It doesn't, and it's annoying as hell to everyone else. If you had actually paid any attention, which I've found to conclude that you very rarely do, you would have seen how I mentioned that I wouldn't have attempted to KILL anyone. Yes, I would have broken the line and maybe even caused a few people to roll off of my car, but I wouldn't slam on the accelerator and murder innocent people; even if they're stupid people. Everyone has the right to assembly and protest, but blocking the interstate isn't a right. It's illegal, and I'm glad the police slammed that guy in the video and took him in. Running down the highway chanting "this is what democracy looks like". What a joke. I'm not going to sit on the interstate for hours while idiots line up across the road to protest stupid stuff. That's not how I roll. Get out of the street or you might just get hit is how I see it, and it's what I (and most other motorists) live by. I don't appreciate you implying that I'm a psycho, especially when you don't even really know what you're talking about.

Election 2016
People seem to think that only voting for President and blowing off everything else is the right thing to do. Then people wonder why we have idiots in office.

Proud to finally call myself a Registered Nurse.
Congratulations man, never give up. Always strive for higher accomplishments and NEVER give up. When you give up, you've only defeated yourself. Don't worry about what others think or say. One day they'll be dead, then what? Are you still worried about how they called you an idiot in their grave? Absolutely not. Good luck!

Which is exactly why I'm against the movement. I spit on their purpose, because their purpose doesn't make sense and it's blatantly ignorant. The power of the media is truly frightening. It's hard to take such a movement seriously when there are people within that movement that think "All police are racist". It's just stupid. This is one of the very few political topics that I have no respect for the opposing side. It just doesn't make any sense. None at all. Yes, it does say a lot. It says that I'm not going to be prisoner to a bunch of stupid cop-haters that think it's OK to block the interstate, there's not even any argument in that. It's just retarded, regardless of what you're trying to protest or support. It's just dumb, and inconsiderate. I absolutely would have broken through the line, and I wouldn't have any problem going to sleep that same night. If you want to protest then that's fine you have that right; but you don't have the right to block the interstate and cause people to be late.

He's got a uniform on, even better. If the same people involved with this "movement" are the same people that think it's OK to block motorists on the interstate, then that's a movement that I don't want to be a part of. I'm all for protesting police brutality and equality among all people, but blocking Americans that have nothing to do with anything from commuting to and from work isn't the way to do it, and I'm glad a few of them almost got hit. I would have probably drove through the block as well, I wouldn't have tried to kill anyone, but I definitely would have had a few people on my hood. They were chanting, "This is what democracy looks like". If that's truly what democracy looks like, I may have to rethink what I'd prefer.

Election 2016
Wow, didn't know that. I spoke to my recruiter and he said you can't even get in with a GED when I talked to him. No diploma no entry he said. He mentioned that the Army is getting rid of the dead wood that's been in for a while. People that haven't passed a single PT test and are continuing fail their classes and such. He also said that recruiting is at an all time high, just the Army is really getting rid of its dead wood, and immediately. Don't mean to go off topic here but good point you have.

Then move somewhere that has higher-paying jobs. Shouldn't have moved into an area with no jobs to begin with. Can't afford higher education? Find some scholarships, join the military, do something to help yourself. I have no sympathy for someone that sits there and expects everything to come to them just because that's the way they think it should be. Go join the military, find scholarships, learn a new skill, do something with your life. I couldn't care less because I'll move on with mine and do what I have to do to be successful. Just the way life works. Either face the challenges or whine and complain about them.

Apparently inconveniencing Americans that had nothing to do with the situation "proves a point" to the police. The logic in that, I don't understand so I couldn't tell ya.

Did you see the video I linked at the part where that guy drove through the line? Golden.

Fatal Police Shooting Sparks Unrest
Just so that you all can get an idea of the idiots protesting, look at the first few minutes of this video, and notice how it's Americans versus Americans. Americans are fed up with the protesting of other dumber Americans. I'd honk my horn too. At around 11 minutes a car busts through the line and actually hits a few people.

For those of you not residing in the United States, yes, this is still going on. And it will continue to go on for some time until people decide to use some common fucking sense rather than believe in what the media tells them, especially when they don't even know all of the facts. Anyways, on to the story. ST. LOUIS (AP) — The police chief on Thursday unapologetically defended the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old who was killed by two white officers in a confrontation that drew protesters and unrest back to the streets. Related StoriesSt. Louis police shoot, kill 18-year-old after home search Associated PressThe Latest on Ferguson: Crowd at protest diminishing Associated PressRumors fed unrest following St. Louis police shooting: alderman ReutersFresh racial unrest in St. Louis after police shoot black suspect ReutersProtesters gather in Ferguson for peaceful demonstration Associated PressProtesters pledged to stand firm. Said the director of a group called the Organization for Black Struggle: "We will not go away." Mansur Ball-Bey, who police said had a handgun, was shot as officers raided a home in a violence-plagued part of north St. Louis. Within an hour of Wednesday's shooting, more than 100 people converged on the scene, taunting officers and decrying the use of deadly force. A vacant building and at least one car were torched, police said. Officers responded with tear gas and arrested at least nine people on charges of impeding traffic and resisting arrest. The scene unfolded less than two weeks after violence marred the anniversary of the day Michael Brown was fatally wounded by a white officer in nearby Ferguson. His death launched the national Black Lives Matter movement. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said the crowd-control tactics were justified because officers were being hit with bottles and bricks and protesters refused to clear out of the roadway. My opinion: This entire thing is just retarded at this point. An incident happens where an officer ended up fatally shooting someone, and the media somehow finds a way to get race involved and make it seem like the person killed was some sort of hero or role model, and then these idiots continue with their "Black Lives Matter" bull shit. I'm sick and tired of hearing that statement, because not just black lives matter. People take for granted the safety the police provide them, and they don't realize that until the moment they need the police. During the Ferguson riots, someone starting shooting. Guess what happened? The same people that were shouting in the police officers faces, were the same people that those same officers led to cover while the shooting happened. Not a word was said by any of the idiots protesting. What a joke. I honestly take my clogged toilet more seriously than the protesting. http://news.yahoo.com/protests-st-louis-police-shooting-suspect-18-070441165.html

Not at all. Wal-mart recently raised its minimum wage and it began going out of business as a result. Raising the minimum wage doesn't solve as many problems as people seem to think it does. If they wanted to make more than 7.25 an hour then they should have paid more attention in school. Plus, I need someone to serve me fries when I go to Five Guys, so it all works out in the end.

No, but one can argue that it's his fault for not having a backup job if he remained unemployed for a while.

Because in the cases I've described above it is their fault. Who can they possibly blame for their being unseccesful?
