The reason it is hard to make is that there are two methods for GTA vehicles: 1) Steal it from another game. No game has one. 2) Make it from blueprints. There are none available.

The only ones that I would class as a reasonable poly count are Sam's ones.

Sorry, I was working with Sam on something for FR . I have made adjustments to the radio and added a Sgt patch, anyone know if NYPD have the rank patch on both or one shoulder?

These things will allow them to block any site they want to.

The problem with adding voices would be that they would be different to the original actors, which would mean re-recording thousands of sound files.

Nah, just showing off. I just replaced the Glock to make a new signature and avatar and to test GIMS and OpenIV.

Since the posted image I have replaced the Taser textures with proper ones (Diffuse, normal & specular), slightly adjusted the mic wire and have textured the radio mic and wire.

I am surprised they did not leave the models there and just tell the game not to load them.

That is the bouncers at the nearby strip club, I have noticed that happen in Northern Gardens in Bohan. Edit: Beat me while looking for a map.

NicolaiB is right, 911:FR is the US version published by Atari, and Emergency 4 many other places published by Blue Stone both made by Sixteen Tonnes. And 2012 is 5 (the sequel) by Deepsilver WITHOUT MODDING! The best mods in my opinion are Los Angeles mod, New York Mod (by the LA mod team), New York Modification (by FFW TUT, unreleased and topic closed (thanks "when release" nagging 4-year-olds!)), Winterberg Mod & RTS.

The added stuff will have an added texture in the wtd file.

So far: 3DS is not set up to render like IV so there is a hard gloss and textures are not done.

Exactly, the building on the right was coloured blue (easy), the building on the left chopped down (medium) and the sky and background buildings were replaced (easy). It is quite obvious if you look closely, the left building's roof is too sharp, the sky does not look like it belongs there and the background buildings are not in-game focused and show signs of being taken with a DSLR.

They aren't that bad, but are very bad. The problem is that they are often ripped from games that do not have an open environment, games that only have to load a few cars and buildings at a time.

Not had much time and was having issues with GIMS, I have added a Taser and am working on the radio.

LCPDFR makes the problem more obvious because you are a) in a police car more b) have police backup. The polygon increase with most models is over 300%! That is shoddy modelling for a computer game, real-time rendering has limits and so do game engines, neither have been thought about when these models were made, any decent modeller sticks to a polygon budget if needed. If you computer is powerful enough and you are lucky, you may not have issues.

Sounds like a good idea. Down-rep will be less likely to be abused then, people are more likely to abuse down-rep than up-rep anyway.
