London Murder Rate Surpasses US's New York City
No, your point was invalid because your point came across as 'people died, so none of the laws work' - like, what is your point. People die in every country, doesn't mean none of the laws here don't work, quite the opposite, the police are extremely effective here and now they have been given their powers back to pro-actively police, the crime rate will most likely drop again.

A lack of knowledge... you understand that this post is about the United Kingdom and was replying to T J who was referring to the UK citizens losing their rights to own firearms... this has nothing to do with police response times in the US, but hey lets say people have a lack of knowledge whilst completely missing the point. That is just pathetic, childish and I am sure some would find it offensive, it'd be as if I posted cartoons of dead children in a school or the Las Vegas concert shooting to prove my point, it is sad and wrong and all but shows you don't have a point.

I'm sorry, but Nevada has open-carry laws, how did that work out for the Americans at the Las Vegas concert shooting, are you just discounting all the events where civilians with the rights to bear arms and where shot up, or are you just being arrogant? Are you trolling? The murder rate went up over New York for the month, so let's go back to the war of independence... because that was totally won by Americans and not by large assistance from the French against an army which consisted primarily of Americans who where armed by the British... yup, sure. Yes, of course the minorities within the countries could of totally stood up to the two of the largest and in the German's case the most technically advanced armies in the world, the United Kingdom had one of the largest empires in the HISTORY of the world at the time, the largest navy and incredible technological advancements and even we needed help, so what you just said is childish opinion on the whole event. The way I see it, we are never going to agree on it. I along with most others feel free in this country, the government implemented the laws you call unfree because we wanted them implementing. You'll probably always think that the UK is a country which infringes on rights, and I'll always hold the opinion that Americans incorrectly value the ability to own guns over safety, but that's just the way our different cultures are.

I feel free, funny how Americans constantly complain about other countries freedoms, aren't school students currently protesting that they don't feel free or safe because people have such easy access to guns and can ambush them in schools. Also, the right to self-defense, are you serious? I would rather wait the time for the Armed Police here to respond and deal with a situation than having a bunch of jumped up people who have limited firearms training trying to deal with a shooter. Also, the Government removed the right to own weapons because the people wanted it, because the United Kingdom is a democratic country and it does what the people want, I'm not sure how it works in the United States but I can assure you that the UK is a free and democratic country.

The problem is that the government reduced the stop and search powers of police, which basically allowed them to stop people to see if they are carrying a 'dangerous weapon' - in the United Kingdom you can't just carry around a knife without reason and owning certain kinds is illegal (switch blades), however the Government classed 'stop and search' as a policy which uses racial profiling and as such they cut it, now it's being reinforced so I'm guessing that in the next few months the crime rate will decrease again now that police have the powers they need. As for the part and parcel thing... I don't know what you are getting at, he had a point... large cities, especially capitals of countries are the most likely to be attacked by terrorists, and he has been supportive of counter-terrorism police and intelligence agencies. Houston officer kills unarmed man walking w/ trousers down
Oh. So as long as the cop isn't put in a dangerous position, it's all good to shoot him or something? He had is pants around his ankle, was visibly unarmed and the cop decided the best course of action was to shoot him, that seems like some pretty poor police work to me.

He was the General Public, I wouldn't say it was a win for him, y'know... cos he's dead. Ah, so... if you don't follow commands, you are all good to be shot dead. As for the these guys statement, what exactly do you mean - I really don't see how someone can be that sickening to condone the murder of a man for not following the orders he provides, seems pretty unjustified to me.

With respect the only point you have tried to make so far is that the United Kingdom is Afghanistan backed up by a few videos and the opinion of the leader of Englands anti-muslim group. I don't like when people like you blatantly make up stuff and try and back them up with opinions which are masquareded as a fact to simply try and prove a point. I will listen to facts but none have yet to be presented stating that all 1.8 billion muslims are terrorists and until some evidence comes out saying they are, I will continue to believe that Muslims shouldn't be banned from any country for other peoples actions.

What you have done is post a video of around a few guys who want to enforce Sharia Law in the United Kingdom... something that will never happen and you are using it as an example of the United Kingdom being pretty much Afghanistan, only thing being that it's completely untrue and you are fully aware of it, hence you not replying back to either myself or Sam's comments but instead just posting a few videos of few Muslims who wish to enforce Sharia Law even though they will never be able to do. As for Tommy Robinson... I wouldn't use him as a source of information, he's quite known to go out with other members of the EDL (English Defence League - which he co-founded) to intimidate Muslims, under the excuse that all Muslims want to kill us all. Any information from him is going to be completely biased and pushing his agenda of banning all Muslims, which is the main purpose of the EDL.

You use the term 'ignorance is bliss' in the same post as saying that the United Kingdom is turning into Afghanistan.... at this point I really don't understand what your point is. You've posted a video where some guy presents an opinion masqueraded as a fact and at no point have presented an actual fact. I live in the United Kingdom and can tell you with 100% confidence that the UK is not becoming nor has it ever been Afghanistan, each country has it's own problems, we have Terrorist attacks, the United States has issues with school shooting, each country chooses how to deal with these issues in their own way. Our way is to not ban an entire religion due to a minority of lunatics.

I like how you don't want Muslims shouldn't share their Qu'ran with you, as if you are somewhat regularly approached by Muslims asking if you want to hear the word of Allah? You are free to not care about their religion, but their religion is free to practice it and this whole discussion came about after a user mentioned banning all 1.8 Billion Muslims. As for your whole comment of, don't share your Quran with me... I guess you also support the removal of 'In God We Trust' from the Dollar, because as you say - people shouldn't be pushing religion in other peoples faces, especially if they don't agree with the religion.

This is one of those situations where I guess that we'll just have to agree to disagree. I take issue with parts of the Qu'ran, that being said I do not think that all 1.8 billion Muslims are violent people or people who want to force strict Islamic rule over us. I have no problem with Muslims as a whole, and I find it pretty disgraceful that people have no problem in supporting acts such as banning Muslims for the acts of a few, which are largely unsupported by all other Muslims.

You have just countered the exact declaration of Human Rights with an opinion, regardless of your opinion on the matter, in the eyes of the United Nations and the Declarations of Human Rights, it is a right that you be able to access Health Care - it doesn't say that you can't still have insurance, but those who are unable to afford Health Care are required to receive it.

I never said that Islam in my opinion wasn't a particularly nice religion, not something I believe in. The quotes above though do not prove anything, the matter of the fact is that the large amounts of Muslims do not agree nor support violence against 'non-believers' it's also worth nothing that 2:191-193 relates to killing those who have oppressed you and taken your land and that 8:65 relates to soldiers being strong in combat. The matter here is that of the 1.8 billion Muslim's you'll find less then 1% believe in, support or partake in acts of violence against people whom do not believe in Allah or the teachings of the Qu'ran. I think this might be of some interest, a Stack Exchange topic specifically relating to the killing of non-believers/infidels: https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/7421/does-the-quran-urge-persecution-of-the-infidel If we are for Human Rights - is this the pick and choose version. Article 25 of the Universal Declarations of Human Rights states Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. Yet the CDC has statistics from 2016 stating that 4.4% of Americans failed to obtain needed medical car due to cost. I guess based on your logic I should be 'against' the United States due to it failing to provide an adequate standard of living as required by the Human Rights Declarations, since I believe in Human Rights.

I don't think anyone disagree's with that statement that radicals should be eliminated. The problem is that people take that problem and blame it on the entirety of a religion, such as the roughly 1.8 billion Muslims being blamed for acts undertaken in the name of ISIS, an organisation with the strength estimated at 100,000. I'm sure people wouldn't call for the banning and slaughter of all Christians if 100,000 began killing people even though the religion as a whole has an estimated 2.8 billion 'believers' - pretty hypocritical if you ask me. Islam isn't the issue. You shouldn't have a problem with a religion of 1.8 billion people because of the actions of the estimated 100,000 people who use that as a reason to partake in violence under it's name, and I say partake in violence because barely half of them understand the Qu'ran nor 'religiously' abide by it.

Have you tried downloading RadianceV? It makes the lights a lot brighter, you can use one of two options I believe. I have linked it below, if you haven't already got it installed, that should hopefully solve your issue.

Youtube will no longer allow monetization if you have less than 1k subs
I find this to be a harsh requirement, I say that as an outsider, I don't create YouTube videos nor do I want to make any, I do however watch many, many channels and some of them are relatively small, and these are the channels which are going to be affected. It's worth pointing out that the main reasons behind this change is because advertisers are leaving due to their adverts being placed on 'controversial' videos and that most of those videos forcing this decision are from YouTubers which already fall within this criteria (some being in excess of 1 million subscribers). YouTube as a platform is currently broken, and for all the open messages that they send out from the YouTube Management it really doesn't make a difference. I have yet to see a change or 'open letter' solve the problems they have been having, they acknowledge and issue and just brush over doing anything about it. Whilst you don't get much money as a smaller channel, arguably it helps you purchase things like games which gives you the ability to record more games and reach a wider audience, you're now going to struggle to do this unless you use Patreon type systems. Yet the people responsible like Logan Paul who pulls in like 50k a month will have no income for a month and continue doing what he wants. Dead guy in a video on the YouTube trending tab from a YouTuber with 15 million subscribers + YouTube Management = Let's just make it harder for the small channels. - Well played YouTube, well played.
