  2. Not bad at all. But as others have stated, this is not the skin CPD went with NOR was this skin considered at all. The image you based your skin on was made by someone outside the department as this image was first shown in the comment section of a Facebook post. The competition only allowed submissions from officers working in CPD, not outside. And as Bleep has shown, the new design is now official. Whether they keep it or not like Dmer has suggested is yet to be determined. (My two cents; it should be changed). Research. The first post you see should not be the one to confirm your hypothesis. Still a great model, hope you can make the prototype CPD has that looks like a Christmas tree (10th District).

  6. For some of the skins, why does the front door design look so well done(near perfect), but the rear looks like no effort was placed. The font was changed and the outline color went from a golden-brown to a med-bright yellow?
  7. I feel it will be faster, but we may never know. I think they did that to make the center area less cluttered. Notice only push button start. The officer can just shift the car to Park and walk out. Some vehicles can automatically (after a few minutes) shut off, which no doubt they may implement in these police vehicles. And yes, theoretically, it can still be stolen, but once its shuts off/runs out of fuel, then that's it, it can't be start-up again without the keyfob.
  8. I feel they will be just side vehicles for heavily congested areas, like downtown NYC/Chicago, maybe LA highways/Airports. Greatly doubt departments would change 100% to hybrids. We are still expecting 1 more additional Hybrid police vehicle from Ford to be built at the Chicago Assembly Plant. Probably a Hybrid Utility. Either way, if price is right, more departments may opt for a few.

  17. I agree with Ragnrok. Political views have their place, but, in my opinion, not on police vehicles skins. Keep them to yourself or post them on the appropriate thread.

  28. Hey Kilyin, may I ask for the file as well. This OpenIV update did mess up the installation process. (Would recommend to temporary update the file with the .awc version instead)
  29. Good, but you used the wrong color for the outer line and wrong font. Positioning could use some work and sizing as well. 2/5
