Take those uncooperative suspects to The Silos in style!

Representing Chicago's finest with their brand new scheme for 2018!

Complete with authentic CPD lighting, Gotta love those blue lights!

From Riverdale to Rogers Park

Wrigleyville to O'Hare

The best ride in Chi Town is in service!

Q&A

1. Can you make it with red and blue lights?

NO! This is a CPD specific vehicle and was made to only work with all blue lights.

2. Can you remove the sign on the light bar?

NO! That is a Beat Tag and is a signature tradition of CPD. This was not made to be a universal vehicle and is built to CPD specifications.

3. Does CPD use that skin?

YES! It is the new design that was chosen by Superintendent Eddie Johnson to replace the "out dated" blue stripe car that has been used since the early 1970's

The one you pictured was a test scheme that was not chosen. It was announced on social media a couple weeks ago that the one on the car I made was the winner.

IDK but i like the older Chicago PD design more than this but due to the fact that the older design is 40 years old it is nice that they get a new design but the setup is awesome i really love the SoundOff Signal Nforce and i think it looks awesome in all blue so i will get along with that.

I really like this car and i will give you 5 outta 5 stars for it.

keep up the good work.

I hope i will see some other Chicago PD cars from you.

Great looking graphics, however, a few of my CPD insider friends with knowledge of the graphics update contest said no units have been marked like this and none have hit the streets. CPD hasn’t confirmed yet, but the rumor is they plan to announce the new graphic winner at the Chicago Auto Show on Feb 10. That said, the commissioner creating the impetus for graphics changes and in charge of this contest is not very well liked and it’s thought that he could be replaced shortly and that the graphics change could be moot/negated. The CPD officers I’ve heard from hate the possible change to their cars. The photo from the lot was a test mock-up and was not widely liked, will not be the design. They may use it for the recruiting/marketing dept, who knows.

I have scanned CPD Facebook and Twitter and can not find them announcing this graphic as was claimed in this thread. Any links to CPD you can provide announcing this would be great.

Either way, it doesn’t take away just how cool this graphic is, and I certainly hope it IS the winner.

**Please help: my lights don’t flash. Only the break lights flash. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing?

Thanks for creating this vehicle, it’s the first one I’ve ever tried to download. Just had way too much cool factor to pass up.

Not so much a fan of the checker striping on the bottom, but still looks sharp.

The checkered stripe was put in there to match along with the checkered stripe that goes around the hats the coppers wear.

Not bad at all. But as others have stated, this is not the skin CPD went with NOR was this skin considered at all. The image you based your skin on was made by someone outside the department as this image was first shown in the comment section of a Facebook post. The competition only allowed submissions from officers working in CPD, not outside. And as Bleep has shown, the new design is now official. Whether they keep it or not like Dmer has suggested is yet to be determined. (My two cents; it should be changed).

Research. The first post you see should not be the one to confirm your hypothesis.

Still a great model, hope you can make the prototype CPD has that looks like a Christmas tree (10th District).

Did a great job but is it impossible to remove the "Interceptor" letters on the hood?

For the record though, I love the one you did...other than the lights not flashing, its totally awesome. I wish they would have gone with this design.

Quick question... What’s your obsession with .7z files? Doesn’t the uploader actually tell you not to use that format?
