Riot callouts

Featured Replies

Any modders out there that my be reading this I thought that a riot callout would be a cool idea or some kind of protest. Much like in wilderness callouts when you got called to a protest and than you had choices on what to do and there was a chance it would go bad or go peacefully. I'm imagining showing up to the scene and cars are on fire and people are fighting and running all over the street and it starts pursuits with peds so that the AI riot police are also arresting people and its just a race to try and arrest as many people as possible. Think it would be cool especially if you had tear gas and such. I know it takes a long time to develop callouts but just an idea.

Something like this but LSPDFR friendly?

Would be nice, but the designer of the callout would need to bear in mind the following:

The game has a habit of introducing chaos into scenarios. If you show up to a riot and have some bit of dialogue, or you want to control all those PEDs, you're creating a lot of room for errors and problems. There IS a protest in front of police station callout, and I'd say it's too structured and the first time I did it, I had to chain up even a few NOOSE members for acting like psychotics before more chaos entered the scene.

Besides...Without better systems that let the world take care of itself - you're not gonna solve a riot by yourself.

I like the wilderness callouts riot where you basically scare them all of by default GTA V functions (using tear gas, or just closing in on them, whatever) It also gives you a chance to peacefully stop it. Now that I think of it thats more of a protest not a full on riot.

Can I ask how to import that file into gtav file? Or using the openiv? Thank you

I downloaded it just to see and all I see is an .XML doc.  I don't know where you would put that.  I think some other files are missing there to make it work.  Like .DLL or something.
