Character Sync & Statistics Suggestion

Featured Replies

So I am enjoying and very pleased with 0.4 so far, and have been playing for a few days every chance I can. And I really like the new Sync system and the Character Creator as well as the fact our in game LSPDFR actions can be saved as stats. However I'm curious based on the vanilla GTA V Stats In Game page that lists and tracks some other detailed stats if the newly featured LSPDFR Sync Stats option could adjust a few sections to accommodate for more relevant stats sections. Example Below

Instead of listing " Showers Taken" , or "minutes of TV watched "  list some more relevant and pertinent information. Such as suspects neutralized or ambulances dispatched. Or Coroner Calls maybe even?. Just a minor suggestion.

I agree with what you said. I like the idea they added to be able to do all that content, but honestly I have never done any of it. I get in-game, and I immediately just go to 'work'. Maybe more people spend time 'off-duty' but I do not. I would like to see more on-duty statistics

Off-topic though,

How do you access your stats? I do not see mine on my profile, I've synced my character in-game and everything.

Click your name in top right, go to profile and then click characters. Once you are on that page click the character you want and it will display the stats page for said character.

Why would you even want to go off duty? There's literally nothing to do. Stores don't work, can't do single player missions with the mod-enabled. Seems kind of moot to have those stats at all.

For me it only says 4 traffic stops, and I already did more then 100 traffic stops and arrests I stil can't understand how the sync works.

Suggestion for LSPDFR Character Sync:  I like it for what it is, but it could be a bit better if it allowed for custom Character Photos like the main profile allows you to do.

I notice this is a similar build as the main profile so it shouldn't be a hard thing to implement, the default Character Pictures are grainy and low quality.

I am a little confused about the info it gathers. It says i have done 22 stops and fired my gun 44 times yet says i have done zero arrests and i know i have done a bunch of arrests. Also says 1 ticket done. Just in my last day onduty i gave out 5 tickets.

Does the info only come from specific plugins and only detects arrests/tickets with specific plugins ingame?

I dont mind the off duty stats but its a shame there isnt more off-duty active things for it all to take details from.

Like its said before, we cant even buy food from the fuel station stores. Only thing possible to get is a soda can from the station vending machine. I wish the stores/shops would be interactive with, even fuel. There are so many offduty activities i would try if they worked. Cinema doesnt work or the beach gym.

If a plugin has its own way of doing it and bypasses the LSPDFR behaviour it will not show up on Sync.

I have been wondering the same thing about stat gathering.  Does it need you to transport the criminal to count as an arrest?  Cause I've arrested plenty, but show zero.  I don't ever transport to the station though.

Yes exactly, so only lspdfr default arrest (E) counts as an actual arrest.

I have stoptheped installed and i have it set to take over all arrests so none of them are synced to my profile.

if i turn it off and make sure none of the other plugins interfere with the default arrest system, it works.

sucks because that basically means most members will never use it much.

I hope they will expand on it.

Yes, you either have to call a transport or transport the criminal for the arrest to count.

Does it matter how you call for transport?  I have been use Albo's smart radio and they haven't been showing up in my stats.  Thanks for the reply!

it has more to do with how you arrest a ped.

do you use the default lspdfr arrest by pressing and holding (e) or do you use the STP menu to arrest the ped(or any other plugin that takes over).

using the default arrest works if you transport the prisoner yourself or have the prisoner transported.

with transport, again you should use the default backup menu to ask for transport (B) if you use smartradio and you have Ultimate backup installed it will again use a different system i think(still need to test) but using the (B) menu to call for transport works like a charm.

Spoiler

01:40     Called in support to transport Sophie Baker to a Police Department in Vinewood Hills, Elgin Ave

01:36     Frisked Sophie Baker in Vinewood Hills, Elgin Ave

01:36     Arrested Sophie Baker in Vinewood Hills, Elgin Ave

so only the default LSPDFR arrest, frisking, transport etc. is synced to your profile.

if you have Stoptheped installed make sure you open the .ini file and set takeoverallarrests=no

when you get to the point you want to arrest the ped just don't click "arrest ped" but instead press and hold (e) to arrest after which you can do another frisk by holding (Q)

when you call for transport with (B) make sure you put the ped on it's knees by pressing (Q)otherwise transport is not available.

for alcohol and drugtest when already arrested, I use traffic policer keys (Lshift+O for alcohol / Lcontrol+O for drugtest) otherwise if not arrested I use the STP menu as I feel it is more user friendly.

hope this helps.

100% does!  Thank you very much.  I have been using stop the ped for most of everything.
