We’re happy to welcome everyone to the public preview of LSPDFR for GTA V Enhanced Edition! This is an early preview build, so please keep in mind that not all Legacy Edition features are available yet. We’ll be continuously updating this version as we work toward full feature parity.
We thank our fantastic Patreon Insiders for providing valuable feedback to us for the past few months.
Plugin and callout compatibility
If you’re wondering whether your favourite callouts and plugins will work: in most cases, yes. A small number of mods that directly interface with the game’s memory may have issues and need updated by their creators, but the vast majority should run fine.
The new RAGEPluginHook has been designed to mostly 'just work' using the new hybrid RAGEPluginHook approach.
NVMe + DirectStorage warning (RAGE Plugin Hook)
If you’re playing GTA V Enhanced on an NVMe drive (you MOST likely are if you have a new system!!), you may see a warning from RAGE Plugin Hook about DirectStorage being enabled. To resolve this, install the DirectStorage fix (also linked by RPH):
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/directstoragefix
Please pay particular attention to this mod's requirements (particularly the ASI loader).
Should I use Enhanced Edition?
RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR are using a hybrid approach to support both Enhanced Edition and Legacy Edition going forward. We’ve also seen a lot of feedback online suggesting that Enhanced Edition loads faster and runs better than Legacy.
That said, this is a Public Preview. Some mods and callouts may not be updated yet, so Legacy Edition may be more compatible for now. The Enhanced Edition versions of LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook may also contain bugs that haven’t been caught in Insider testing.
A lot of content, for example all vehicle models, need ported to Enhanced and will not work out of the box. Tools like OpenIV largely do not work, and have been mostly replaced by CodeWalker. You will not be able to use most content modifications out of the box on Enhanced Edition.
Ultimately, our goal is to keep this choice in your hands for as long as possible.
Lastly, for those of you who celebrate, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas — and wishing everyone a fantastic New Year. Here’s to a happy, healthy 2026 for us all.

zombieguy reacted to Cyan in Welcome to the new LCPDFR.com (LCPDFR.com 9!)Since October of last year, we’ve been hard at work on a modern, refreshed redesign of LCPDFR.com. Today, we’re excited to finally share it with you.
This new version of the site isn’t just a visual upgrade. Behind the scenes, we’ve rebuilt a lot of the core systems that power LCPDFR.com – from the way pages load, to how content is organised, to the tools we’ll be able to build on top of this platform going into 2026 and beyond. We’ve also migrated our custom downloads system and several other bespoke features onto this new foundation.
This launch marks the ninth design update LCPDFR.com has had, and it’s the biggest change since our last major overhaul in 2015 – almost a decade ago.
A Fresh Look, Built for Today
The new site introduces a clean, modern interface designed to be faster, clearer and more intuitive to navigate.
Light & Dark Mode
The site now supports a fully integrated light and dark mode that follows your operating system’s preference. If you’d rather choose manually, you can toggle between themes using the control at the bottom of the site.
Redesigned Editor
Our content editor has been completely rebuilt. It’s more powerful, more responsive, and much easier to use than the previous version. Whether you’re writing mod descriptions, making posts, or writing private messages, the editing experience should feel significantly smoother.
Mods: Front and Center
Mods are at the heart of LCPDFR.com, so we’ve made sure they’re easier than ever to find and browse.
Mods First in Navigation
You’ll now see the Mods portal prominently placed as the first item in the navigation, reflecting what most visitors come here for.
New Grid-Based Layout
Mods are now presented in an expansive grid view, making it easier to scan through content, compare options at a glance, and discover new creations.
Improved Tag Browsing
Tags now play a much bigger role in helping you discover content. Clicking any tag will take you to a dedicated tag results page, where you can explore all related content in one place.
Smarter Search
Finding exactly what you’re looking for should feel quicker and more flexible.
Quicksearch with Filters
The quicksearch has been upgraded with built-in filters, including the ability to search directly by tags. This makes it easier to narrow down results and jump straight to the content you care about.
A full search overhaul is in progress, and what you see in quicksearch today is just a small preview of what’s coming.
Known Issues
As with any major platform change, there are a few rough edges we’re already aware of:
Some content pages under LSPDFR, LML, and RESOURCES may currently appear broken or incorrectly formatted. We’re actively working on fixing these layouts.
The GTA V Native Database is currently not displaying.
Some profiles are showing an error 500.
There are some issues with LSPDFR Sync, we have paused our Pateron until fully resolved.
A small amount of users may be experiencing issues with notifications.
Multiple issues reported by community members (thank you) in this thread.
Some of these have now been fixed. Please continue to report any issues you see.
Thank you for your patience while we work through these issues. Your feedback here is especially helpful, so if you spot anything else that looks off, please let us know.
What's Next and Fixes
This redesign is just the foundation for what’s coming next. With the new platform in place, we’ll be able to iterate more quickly and deliver new features faster than before. Over the next days and weeks, our main focus will be on tightening up the rough edges from this migration and fixing the issues that you might find.
Here are some of the things at the top of our list:
New API for the Mods Center
We've almost finished work on a new API for our mod center - we just have a few changes to make and we hope to share updates on this in the coming days.
Full Search Overhaul
Beyond the improvements you can already see in quicksearch, we’re planning a complete search upgrade to make finding content more accurate, more powerful, and more pleasant overall.
Visual and UX Polish
You may notice small visual quirks, spacing issues, or inconsistent elements across the site. We’re tracking these and will be rolling out incremental polish updates as we go.
This is a big milestone for LCPDFR.com, and we’re really excited to finally share it with you. Take a look around, try out the new features, and let us know what you think – your feedback will help us shape the next round of improvements.
We also hope to have some LSPDFR Enhanced news to share with you in the coming days.
Cyan.

Overall testing is going quite well and there appear to be no game-breaking issues in RPH or LSPDFR left (so far). We still need to port over a few missing features and fix some bugs that affect a smaller subset of users (mostly DirectX/DirectSound related), but hopefully that will not take that much longer. Thanks for your patience!

Loving the progress you guys are making! Can't wait to actually start playing enhanced instead of it sitting in my library collecting dust 😂

zombieguy reacted to GTAbear in im bored lets start a conversation about lspdfrDo you know the RL "Sandy Shores", and the absurd story behind?
It is all real! The marooned abandoned and run down skit-road vibe comes from Salton-Sea Holyday and resort. One of the biggest development and miscalculation disasters in USA.

zombieguy got a reaction from eazbox in Script Hook V and rage plugin hookHonestly if it ever took longer than say a month I reckon we would see alternatives or further development to things like: https://github.com/fr-Pursuit/AsiSupport which in a very basic explanation reroutes calls from scripthookv to the rage plugin hook. There was also this: https://github.com/ivanmeler/OpenVHook which remakes SHV itself.
I think how closed source all the APIs are is super annoying but the only reason alternatives haven't appeared is because it's thankless work and SHV or RPH always eventually come through in the end and release updates.

zombieguy reacted to Nixfee in LSPDFR 0.4.9 - Now Available!A lot of crashes with the new LSPDFR update. Normally a baseline error according to Rage
-
zombieguy reacted to skillzgaming in Performance IssuesI don't think so. I think it's LSPDFR using lower GPU/CPU usage for some reason.
-
zombieguy reacted to skillzgaming in Performance IssuesNo, but for me both CPU and GPU usage drop to around 50% after i go on duty, and increased back up to 90% when the plugin crashed. (see screenshot)

zombieguy got a reaction from OatesyHD in Performance IssuesWhile LSPDFR is active my framerate takes a very hefty beating. I normally run stock GTA V at around 90 - 100 fps, however, while on duty/pursuit I average around 30 - 45 fps most of the time. For reference, my specs are a 4770k @ 4.1GHz, 16gb of ram and a GTX 1080. I also have a fresh install with no other mods installed and have tried: running rage plugin hook as admin, running fullscreen and windowed, lowering and increasing graphics settings and disabling as many background processes as possible.

zombieguy reacted to taxi44 in Why not open source LSPDFR?LSPDFR hasn't seen an update in over a year. I've been told it's still being worked on, so I'll accept that as true, but nevertheless, it seems clear that whatever is being done is taking a very long time.
My question is, why not open source it on GitHub? People could contribute, submit pull requests, then all the developers would need to do is test the new code. Development could proceed much faster. Since LSPDFR is already free of charge, I don't see any downside to releasing the source.

zombieguy reacted to Cyan in Settings HELPPut them in LSPDFR.ini.
However, I think pretty much everything there (except maybe the AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea ?) hasn't helped anyone with the performance issues.
-
zombieguy reacted to Jason_Ness in Performance IssuesI too experience this.
I have a lower speced PC but is capable of running GTA V. 0.31 had its little lags here or there but normally where I was using a lot of mods, skins, etc.
I am using base GTA V with LSPDR and no other mods, scripts or callouts but I find the performance is lower when the game starts with LSPDFR loaded, but the stuttery lag kicks in when on duty and especially when going to a call. For example, lots of lag spikes when responding to the robbery in progress call.

zombieguy reacted to tony in Performance IssuesI hear you man it sucks i just completely got rid of it i did try everything i could even a vanilla folder and still same thing. Im with ya JT im just waiting. Im glad to know that it ain't just me a lot of people are having this problem.

zombieguy got a reaction from FirstEdit in Performance IssuesThey probably are already working on a patch. For now though to help even a little you can try turning down or off settings that affect the CPU, for GTA turn down render distance, population variety, density and disable all extended settings. For LSPDFR try running the following configs in the INI file:
Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True
Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True
Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0
WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f
Ambient.DisableAmbientGameCopSpawnBlock = false
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0
Afterward, try disabling debug logs being created to free up the IO overhead by typing "IsDeveloperModeEnabled true" then right clicking the V logo in your desktop tray and setting logging verbosity to none. Then make sure to type "IsDeveloperModeEnabled false" afterward.
All of these combined makes me run much more stable on duty and slightly better when doing a pursuit.

zombieguy reacted to TAR4C in Performance IssuesCalm down 😄
The only thing we can do is to give the devs as much information as we can.
-
zombieguy got a reaction from tony in Performance IssuesDefinitely isn't a fix anyway, but it should help the fps a bit for the people who really want to play.

DID NOT give my any improvements 😞
When I deactivate the Extra Graphic Options it's getting 50 to 60 fps. But without the mod I can play with these options just fine above 60.
How is it even possible that only some few people have this problem.
