My thoughts on this? I don't know, I want to wait and see, because when the 2016 version was revealed, I instantly hated it, now I love it and use it all the time in my game.

Ok now it's starting to look like an SUV again, and not a large hatchback

Thats what I like. I hated the era of 'compact SUVs' or crossovers that the car companies tried to push. There will always be a need for SUVs

I know you're not the best looking, but don't be so hard on yourself. 😛

The front end of the Explorer looks so crunched and small to me. The front lights look like the slim 2019 RAM lights. I do like the overall shape though. I hope that black trim isn't on all of the models, or is available as chrome/paint-colored. I was never a fan of the Explorer, and while I do like the sportier look of the new one, I seriously dislike both the SUV and the way that Ford is heading in when it comes to exterior design. The new GT500 is the best looking Mustang since 2015, and the Ranger looks fun. But I'm not a fan beyond those two cars. I get that they have to appeal to their massive international market, but these American cars don't look so American anymore.

I'm not real sure about the look of this, although I used to hate the 16 explorer when I first started seeing it and now I love them, and even the older ones (2013 or older). I'm trying to picture this as an FPIU and I'm not too sure. I'm sure i'll grow to like it though just like last time. Time will tell.

Dang shocked nobody is talking about the new lack of spherical shape on all the corners. Before it looked very round and EVERY edge was rounded off. Now it actually has some shape and design to it. I don't like " boxy " cars but having a square corner is not a bad thing either. I personally like the new look!.

I like where they are going with it! But I love the F150 SSV

I can agree with that, I like where its GOING, and am excited to see it return to its original 'SUV' roots

Yeees, another one with hybrid drivetrain! Bring on the electrified future!

We're beyond the age of needing fast cars, now we need fuel efficiency because its on the road so much.
