Hey fam, for some reason I am unable to download some files into winrar as it states “Unexpected End of Archive” in WinRar. I say some because I have been able to download some things like the tpd car pack... that is all though. I have tried everything from 7-zip to checking my firewall to changing browsers and still nothing.

I uploaded two versions of my Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk, and both are having trouble with people downloading them. The download gets to about 0.2mb, then stops. Is this an issue on my end? Or the website?

its gotta be the website its not letting me download anything

The whole website is having this problem, nothing can be downloaded atm.

For anyone wondering, no files bigger than 500Kb can be downloaded from the website right now.

Issues are definetly on the site's end, so we all hope they can fix this in the close future 🙂

WORKAROUND: Select "choose another method" in the download page and switch to the Paris server. That one works well.

Hi, I just tried a file that was 91,1 MB in size, and it worked flawlessly. I don't think the issue is "definitely on the sites end" 🙂

I am not the only one having this issue, sir.
In the few part days, other users reported the same problem. It might be due to country localization, not sure, but it's definetly there. 

The workaround I have found seems to work fine though.

 

Yeah, I'm having multiple issues downloading files of all sizes at the moment. Even switching to the backup server isn't working 100% of the time. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried with multiple different browsers and it's not working. Please let us know if you are seeing any issues on the site end of things or have a proper workaround. 

 

What I'm getting exactly is the download getting up to being close to complete, and then getting a Failed - File Incomplete error. This is through Chrome. I have tried it with multiple files and it's giving me the same error on most of them.

Tested on Edge, same problem. It's like the server cuts the connection soon before completing download.

I've tried a few files again, and it still seems to work. 

No issue on my side. From our logs most users aren't having any issues -- so I'm not entirely sure this is on our end.

Regardless, will raise with vendor.

I tried this method with my TrackHawk and it's still giving me the same error. Chrome says "File Incomplete" even after I uploaded the same file on my home network and switch from CDN to the Paris Server.

Just tired again and I clicked "Start Now", it worked great!

Ok I am trying to replicate your method and it works one time out of two. The size of the file seem to matter in any case, the bigger the file, the bigger the chance it gets disconnected before completion.

I am still trying to find some sort of download log to explain why this happens, my total guess right now is the Country we are downloading from, but again, it's a guess.

EDIT: just downloaded a big car pack. First time completed, second time disconnected. Confirmed randomness.

EDIT 2: Downloaded ten more files from both sources, no problem whatsoever.
Whatever it was, it seems to be solved for now, so I'd call this Thread closed.
