Well I know that there any many members of the Community Team that play Arma 2 regularly, including myself. Who all is waiting for Arma 3 and how enhanced do you think it will be?

Apart from the videos and what appears to already be great graphics, my only suggestion for Arma 3 would be server-side. Something that probably won't go far in discussion here.

I love the new lighting system! Can't wait for it to come out think it will be pretty awesome with all the new futures like under water diving and stealing someone else uniform and getting past enemy guards because they think its you. ( my comma key is broke so can't put commas lol) Also the new rag doll effects look awesome and the powerplant gives power to the citys if you blow it up than the lights go out =).... OMG I just can't wait lol

I've never played ArmA. Anything I've read about it say it's awesome. Anyone know where I could pick up a copy of it? ArmA 2.

Check out the Steam store. That's the most likely place to find it. However my Wal-Mart usually stocks it, so you might be able to get it there.

I mainly bought Arma 2 for DayZ lol, it took me 6 hours just install the damn thing and get it to work!

Anyway, Arma 3 looks awesome! I love the lighting effects.

I'm not really interested in Arma III, I don't like futuristic theme, anyway, from what I've seen, has amazing graphics and effects, but then, maybe, depending the mods they release, I hope CWR, I might think buying it.

And I hope they improve the controls, are a bit awkward.

I'm gonna get it. Here's hoping my rig can run it.

The devs stated if your PC can run ArmA 2, It'll be able to run ArmA 3.

EDIT: There is also a community beta coming out sometime in Q4 of this year

I am a big fan of Arma II (combined ops) and it is one of my favourite games, next to GTA IV. I just love hooking up my joystick and taking an Apache or A-10 for a ride.

As for Arma III, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Like the devs said themselves, all the small tweaks like reloading animations will provide an even better experience.

I also hope, same as Sniper, they remain loyal to the original fans and don't simplify the game for all those Dayz children out there.

Last but not least, mod support. Mods like JSRS, ACE, Blastcore, CBA,... lifted Arma II from a great game to an amazing and realistic simulator.

They won't, they said they are going to have it be more complex than lets say COD. Also at this point it would take a very long time to rewrite all the code to make it easier....

Not to brag, but I can run Arma 2 on full settings with no lag. So this should be fine for me, lol.

I played Arma for so many hours, it's such great fun especially when you find good Chernarus/Zargabad life servers to play on.It's what got me started on LCPDFR a few years ago
