Realistic steering wheel mod?

Featured Replies

Is there a mod that brings more realism to how steering wheels operate in GTA V? We can basically turn the gamepad stick to the left and our character will turn left to the maximum extremely quickly. Is there a mod that slows down this process, so that turning takes some more time, as it should be more realistic?

True, I don't know of any other mod sorry.

There probably is no such mod I am talking about even xD. I wish a had a steering wheel for my PC, that way the steering would be more realistic and would take me more time to turn to the max to left or right.

The mod for the steering wheel mod is awesome. I know you can use it for the keyboard and controller as well, I'm not sure if it slows down the steering for what you are looking for or not. But I'd suggest if you can getting a steering wheel to do it. This mod has made my patrols a lot more realistic. - GTA 5 Manual Transmission Mod

Yeah I have seen this one, that's what I meant that I wish I had a steering wheel :D.

you can use X360E to add a wheel and controller acting as one controller for GTA

then you can adjust the left stick on the ur wheel on X360E

change dead zone, how sensitive near the centre u want it. ive got mine set up pretty well

Logitec g920

the steering mod and manual shift was really good i found.....BUT i couldnt go more than 80mph and let my foot off the pedal without spinning out horrifically, so that's why i emulated the wheel into a controller using X360E , plus you get all the buttons like normal to map

this might have exactly what your looking for, there is a setting in there that lets you adjust the angle of the steering for keyboard and joystick (xbox controller or wheel)

i use this with both my xbox and wheel

Manual Transmission for sure! There are many options to play with, but I'm not sure if the curves and settings work with gamepad - because I can't remove throttle dead zone on triggers, but can do with pedals.. It works with my G29 pretty well. Clips with fps drops, but totally worth it.
