    Sounds like your story mode is at the part where Michael is banned from the city , even tho the story mode is separate from lspdfr, some stuff like that still comes over, you might have to play your story mode a bit more until Michael is allowed back into the city or just stay away from the city for now

    there is 2 ways you could do this
    1) for the car you want to replace, do a search, lets take sheriff for example, do a search "in game files only" and see how many pops up

    as you can see, 3 spots for it show up (im showing 2 in the pic) and if you look at the folder names, one says patchday1ng and one says patchday3ng
    patchday3ng is a higher number then 1 so it must of came out later at some point, and the game will load that after patchday1 so anything in there will replace what patchday1 is replacing, so your best bet is to place your sheriff replacement car in patchday3ng
     
    2) the 2nd way is a lot more tricky, but it will save you from having to search for the car you want to replace
    what i did was download a addon car, and all my cars go in there

    now the tricky part is , you have to find the meta file and delete the lines for it from the update.rpf , as it will load from there and not your new dlc
    i made a txt file reminding me where and what to delete so that it loads my versions correctly
    assuming you put your version of the car (any edits that the readme says to do of the car in the correct meta file of the addon car (vehicle.meta, carcols.meta handling.meta exc)

    I wouldnt risk it, what you should do is make 2 folders, one for lspdfr, one for online , and if you wanna go online just rename the 2 back and forth
    ex: if you wanna play lspdfr take your folder that says GTA 5 LSPDFR and rename it back to GTA 5 and change your normal game to something like GTA 5 ONLINE

    this way, there will be no chance that you will get banned (for a file at least)

    its doable , ive done this tons of times , you would need to replace every thing that the orginal car your replacing uses (handling line [altho for this i just use one existing one] vehicle.meta line, carcols line exc, and you would need to match the files for the models exactly [ ie if the stock gta car your replacing has 4 model files your replacemnt must have 4 as well]

    I donno how dls works (i dont use it myself) but i do know they use Non-ELS cars, so going by that, did you install the carcols file correctly for the cars? i bet the ai is useing the carcols file while the players version is useing a file in the DLS folder

    unbind the default lspdfr pullover menu, i dont know the exact location of the ini file, or the wording you need to look for (im at work) so if you can wait 8hrs , when i get home ill post it here, or if someone else can do so, but it is possable as i use stp and dont have menu conflicts 
     
    this file is located in the "Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\" folder
    its called keys.ini
    the line you want is
     
    TRAFFICSTOP_INTERACT_Key=E
    change to
    TRAFFICSTOP_INTERACT_Key=None

    not that i know of, what i useually do is go as if im installing the mod (copy paste it over / overwrite files if needed) and since the files it replaced / put in are highlighted , i just then hit the delete key and it should remove them, be careful tho , as if there is any folder along wiht the files, it will remove the folder and not just the files in the folder

    I did a lookup of that script needed, and i see that in the script page, the auther says its not working anymore, i wonder if thats the script causing your issue

    The way i install all car files is i install them to a dlc car i download (like for me, i downloaded a stainer addon that adds 3 cars, then i just add all cars i download to that as the file structure is there, imma show you 2 ways of doing this, one useing the gta 5 patchday files and one adding files to a downloaded dlc.
     
    Patchday version
    1) Open the program OpenIV
    2) do a search for policeB in game files only (we wont be replaceing them in the game files tho, we do this search to see where the file is located) <<< Picture link
    2a) so we see that policeB is located in the patchday1 dlc so we are gonna right click on the ytf file and then click on "go to file" <<< Picture link
    2c then we turn on edit mode (do not edit anything in here, this is just to get the warning box that shows up) and then hit the button that says "copy to MODS folder" <<< Picture link
    3) after hitting the "copy to mods folder" button, it should auto bring you to the new file it made in the mods folder, this is where your gonna add your replacement policeB car (the policeb.yft, policeb+hi.ytd,policeb.ytd,policeb_hi.yft files)
    4) now find the vehicle.meta in "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\"
    4a) open the file in what ever software you use to edit it and find the lines for policeB <<< Picture link
    your gonna be replacing these lines lines for it with the replacement car lines
    4b) there are 2 versions of these lines , the car and the dash line in the same file, dont forget the dash line
    5) next is the siren lights (if its not a els car, im not sure how to do els as i only download non-els) you open the carcols.ymt file and change the lighting for PoliceBike <<< 2 Links here each a different pic
    6) Same thing for the carvariations.ymt file open it and find policeB and replace the stuff with the new car stuff <<< another clicky
    7) the handling.meta goes in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ and replace with your new car info <<< link
    this should be it for the non dlc version
     
     --- DLC Version ---
    find any dlc you want (i used Vapid Stanier 2nd Generation Pack, but it seems the version i use is gone, but the instructions should work for all dlc cars)
    1) Find the Vehicles.rpf file and add your policeB car model into there
    2) find the vehicles.meta for the dlc and add the vehicle meta file to it
    3) find the  carcols.meta,carvariations.meta,handling.meta and add the carinfo to each file (like the carcols info go in the carcols file exc)
    4) this step is needed or else the game will not load your car vehicle.meta info (i know this cuz i had to track this down myself , took me 5hrs lol)
    4a) open mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicle.meta file and remove the lines (yes remove) for policeB (dont forget the dash line)
    thats it for the dlc version (i mean if u installed a dlc i assumed you already added the dlc line to the dlcList in the update.rpf file)
     
    this is how i installed the policeB replacement , and franklens bike replacement (bagger)

    im seeing in the log that there was a error loading a xml file

    Ive never had that happen or at least i havent tryed because thats just not realistic (dont take that as im telling you your wrong for playing that way, anyone can play how they want, just take it as thats not how i woluld play) i have noticed tho that if i do have a partner and i stop the car , get out , start shooting my partner will also start shooting at the suspect, maybe they arent designed (not from lspdfr, the game AI itself) to shoot from the car

    Im not sure but i think callout interface has the feature that lets you end the callout, none of my callouts end unless i hit the end key on my keyboard

    did you install car mods? if so, did you install the other required mods that are needed for ALL modded cars 
     
     
    *** Gameconfig.xml for LML or manual install - The download page for this game config says you need LML for it to work, altho im using it with out LML and it works just fine, try at your own risk

    Just to let you know, the creater of "Gameconfig (1.0.2802) for Limitless Vehicles" looks like he updated it , the file history says

    so you can update your game now with the new version if u want

    but the police2 handeling is located in "Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\"
    same as the buffalo2 handling
     
    and the vehicles.meta file for both thoes are in "Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\"
