New font

Featured Replies

Recently the font changed to what I believe is Ubuntu, but I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere so I figured I'd ask here as to why it changed and if there is anything else planned.

Reason being I've heard mixed opinions. I'm not a fan of this font (although I am starting to get used to it), and a friend is saying it's harder for him to read stuff due to his dyslexia as some letters appear really similar. On the other side I've also heard of people not minding it, which I am thinking is the general consensus as nobody has created a topic about it yet.

Either way, I'm curious as to what the reason behind the change was, assuming there was an actual reason, and if there can at least be an option to change the font back somewhere in the settings so those who don't like it (or have dyslexia related issues with it) can select something else.

I would be able to implement something on our side that allows you to change font on an account-level if there's enough interest.

That actually would be handy considering people hate this font and some people like it. changeable font per account basis would make everyone happy.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I think it'd be nice, as well. It could go right next to the "Theme" button.

As @Cyan said, you can edit it with Stylish, it will be changed for you locally without changing it for everyone ^^

I think you're missing the point. What's being asked is an option per account where you can change the font; not a request of completely removing the current font. Nothing is lost by having options.

I'm also not speaking of removing all the font ^^ Just let it like that, and you, on your computer, you can change it :D

We did A/B testing, this font won.

You could use a tool like Stylish and create a custom CSS rule to change the font on your side.

I really hope that testing was not just my signature poll and the staff reaction in Slack.

You are using the WRONG right theme!

I voted Wingdings but no one listened :(

You'd have to get the browsers to listen before it is even an option.
