Hey. What was your worst death while playing LCPD:FR? And how did it happen? Post anything about it!

Mine just recently happened, I was in pursuit and the suspects stopped at a gas station, they shot at me so I fired back. My M4 missed and hit a gas tank...IT blew up and I thought I was going to live but then it blew up the suspect's car half a second later. I was blown into a sign, almost lived, and fell and died. THANKS TO ELS, MY CAR LIVED, but not me...

Ah, it involved myself, I believe you ninja and a police stockade. I used my turbo, hit your squad car whilst you were pulling a traffic stop, and I was launched into the air. I then bailed out and splattered myself on the top of a skyscraper.

Lets say my death is when my game crashes because of this mod.

So, it happened yesterday because I couldn't get online. So I thought LCPDFR could be some what fun. Took about 5 crashes before it decided to let me leave to so called "PD."

But the bad part was, it threw me onto a police pursuit, which was epic at first. Then the guy crashed in star junction, which is really bad because I know how this mod loves to spam backup! D:

And if you didn't already know, my game spams the fuck out of cars when I'm in star junction, so traffic spam and police spam. Fuckin' hell, I'm suprised it took about 5 minutes for me to crash.

But the chase was fuckin' epic up till that part. :/

I usually walk the police beat first, before vehicle patrols... anyhow, I was walking towards a freeway underpass and then out-of-the-blue a civilian vehicle comes crashing down on my head. It wasn't pretty... :/

Old versions of 090 had a bug....where you fire...and the police TURN ON YOU WHILE ON DUTY...i was killed...buy rotten cops....

Speaking of deaths, have any of you noticed this bug with LCPDFR? And this has happened to me. I was at a shootout and I was shooting the suspects and I ended up getting killed and I respawned at the nearest hospital. But what happened was, you know the red blips on the minimap that mark the suspects, well they were still there. I went to the place where they were, and all the suspects were dead, but their blips were still on the minimap. I tried CTRL+DEL to debug, but it didn't work. And this has happened every single time. Is this a bug? :confused:

No, I've not experienced that before. If my ped dies, he goes to the nearest hospital as usual, but any part of the callout that was in progress would have been deleted already, with the "Mission Failed" text on the bottom. The only thing that remains is a pursuit in progress, if you die while it is happening and if it is still in close enough proximity to you. But no, whenever my ped dies, everything that was associated to what I was doing in the callouts go away automatically.

this happened a long time back when I was running 0.91.

I was using a traffic mod that I found at gtainside that it max out peds and cars. While testing out the mod, I initiated a traffic stop on a car that ran a red light. as soon as I hit shift he fled. While chasing the car that fled from me for a good 30 seconds he crashed against another car. I got out and went to get him out, as soon as I got him out the AI cops started shooting at the suspect. An AI ped inside a car started to panic and backed up running me over and trapping me under his car. then he got out and started to run leaving me to die under the car.

My EFLC is modded fine,but I have an *almost* stock IV which doesn't have much modded cars so it easily spawns a shitload of civilian vehicles w/o any traffic mods installed.But sometimes,this heavy traffic becomes a major headache (especially while you're in shootouts)

This was the worst one.I could've survived,but I was crushed by another (panicking) van while flying in the air.

I suspect it is.Because 8 out of 10 times,it happens to me as well.

I cant remember what kind of call it was but I was pulling up on scene and mounted the curb and got close to the dude and he pulled a hand gun and shot me in the head. needless to say I learnt my lesson and always pull up a few meters from the CS and draw my baton, tazer or gun. since then most my deaths have been TC related.

No. It has always happened. Every single time. Is there a way I can fix it so it doesn't happen again because I'm sick of always having to load my game again when this happens.

Really? I've never had this happen before. I'll play around with GTA IV again this weekend to see if I get what you are talking about in my game.
