[REL] LPCallouts [EOL]

Featured Replies

I wished that I have more time to develop the callouts further, but its simply not possible. Therefore I make my callouts public for everybody who wants to enhance their callout experience

If you use code from my Repo or Clone it for further dev, please keep the credits.

- Assistance required:
This Call-out contains static hand placed accident scenes where you have to question the onside people to find out the location of the initiator of the accident.

Once you have the suspect location ( which is generated randomly out of a list of possible locations )
there are 3 possible ways the suspect reacts:
- Suspect has recognized your police car and is fleeing in his vehicles
- After questioning the suspect, he gives up
- After questioning the suspect, he flees

In the first release there will be about 10 scenes around San Andreas.

Wouldn't this be called Hit and Run?

  • Author

... yes :) ... but as you are requested as assistance i named it like that... then afterwards you find out that it´s a hit and run :)

Update:

The Assistance Required callout is currently the only callout implemented in this pack available to the testers. As a tester myself, and with permission from the Developer, I can tell you this:

Assistance Required is a very fun callout to take. It is in depth, has multiple scenarios, dialogue is pretty realistic, and the callout itself is stable. There are currently 2 different Assistance Required callouts in 2 different locations. Being im not the Developer, I cannot give anything more than a broad overview of the mod, so any questions should be directed to LowRid3R. Expect future updates, as this is being thoroughly tested and developed!

First off, he'll never see this because you didn't quote him.

Second, I don't know if that's how a hit&run works. A hit&run is anytime a car flees the scene of an automobile accident without getting information or taking proper "protocol"

As suggested in your comment: the individual runs away, you chase him, then later find out that "OH! HE HIT SOMEONE AND RAN?!?! I had no Idea it was a hit and run. Thanks for telling me"

A cool idea would be to have a suspect give only a partial plate and you have to go to all of the addresses that match the partial. You take the witnesses/suspect and they identify the person.

Exactly. Got the multiple addresses one. Working pretty much right. This is a really cool call out. Been playing it for a good 90mins straight (inbetween a couple other callouts).

So, the first one in Murieta heights - Worked very well. The scene was clean, I really enjoyed it. I've had two there and the outcome, though different was cool. (of note, probably totally unrelated but since I popped this script in my policet and ambulances no longer have environmental reflective lights - weird?)

Second was a hit and run on the beach by a speed boat - took me a while the find the boat but got there in the end and suspect arrested after fleeing (so far out of 5 callouts they have all fled after questioning). This scene worked pretty well except the orange flag from the 911 caller (she was not from the USA) would not go away after the callout was finished.

Third was a hit and run in del Perro area and this was a partial plate - 3 addresses requiring multiple units. I picked the wrong address. The first officer called in wrong vehicle and cleared 10-4. When I arrive it was the wrong vehicle I was advised to stand by for further instructions which never came. This was because the third vehicle did not seem to spawn properly. So I left the house I was at and went the final location - suspect located and arrested.

Forth was a hit and run at the corner of Elgin and san Andreas Ave. I arrived, spoke to the on scene officer, when I went to question the witness the whole scene completely despawned and that's when I decided to pop here and give some feed back.

So as you have read, I have noted about 4ish bugs that occurred.

Thankyou though this is terrific callout script and I will enjoy playing this continually.

Best Regards.

I just posted a message in our testing group for the developer to see. Similar to your last point, another person reported their scene despawning while at a suspects house. I have tried recreating this and will continue to. Can you provide your RPH log in a spoiler so that the developer can see what is going on? Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated.

Here is the thread for the despawned situation. I also noted, there is no audio for beat_8 (I like to use 1 ADAM 8)

I have never experienced the sort of freezing you are describing on RPH .47, or while using this.

So just had another hour or so run at it. No issues at all. Ran super smooth this time. Had the Del Perro call again, two on Marlowe Drive and another elsewhere. Each was functioning well. No glitching no bugging. I fixed the Beat_8 issue. I think lowrider should ensure in his readme that to get the numbers that are less than 10 you have to put it as 01-09. It worked perfectly when I switched it to that. I'm enjoying the fact I have to drive a little to get to the callout instead of most callouts being literally around the corner which annoys me in a lot of callouts.

Its also running smoothly for me now whats the Beat for?

I had an idea for some callouts. Not quite sure if it's up your alley, but I thought I'd share anyways.

Vehicle stolen callouts would be cool.

Maybe some Merryweather-based callous? Like Merryweather units under attack.

Vehicle Stolen: Someone called in for a stolen vehicle and you have to do an investigation into who stole it

Units under attack: Merryweather is being attacked and needs local law enforcement help

This sounds pretty awesome plus it´s very different. Can´t wait to see what else could be in this pack.

A little suggestion to a call could be a person calling in because he walked past a house, gas station or something else and he heard noises coming from the back of the yard or from the back of the gas station. Different scenarios could be that a cat is just back there and nothing else, A drunk person has decided to sleep and is making some noises, an actual thief trying to break in (Could just look like he is but he should wear something to cover his face) that too could have different outcomes too the last one could turn out to be a prank call or an old man who thinks he heard something but nothing is there.

You know a callout out no one has done but is a super common issue is mental health. A callout regarding unusual behavior, or a someone at home is in crisis. It can go so many ways. Even taking the person to hospital to be treated could be an outcome. Just a little more realism for a callout that is common no matter what police dept you are from.
