Best anti-virus?

Featured Replies

AVG Free and use Malwarebytes. I've never had a machine infected while running these products. I also back it up with a version of chrome called Comodo Dragon with a few addons such as Last Pass, Adblock Plus, and Trafficlight.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

I personally use malwarebytes, Webroot and Defender at an absolute last resort.

Malwarebytes of course, though not an av its just a good layer of protection for you

Anyway, the av's I recommend is bitdefender, avast, and avira....Don't get the paid versions but rather the free ones of these since their protection/detection should be the same

Malwarebytes (Anti Malware, Anti Exploid and Antiransomware) are very good. Vor Virus is Comodo better as AVG or Avast. Comodo have a better Rate to found the newest Virus and the Performande is better make not the PC slower) On payd Software is for me Kaspersky Internet Security the best. But at the End it is your decision which is best for you and comes in question.

AVG Free and use Malwarebytes. I've never had a machine infected while running these products .  We have been using AVG for several years, its a stable product for my use. Malwarebytes takes care of anything nasty and then rerun AVG.  no issues.

'Kaspersky' with 'malwarebytes' and extra's such as 'adware cleaner' and 'hitmanpro'. You can get all of these premium for free just find out.

I personally use Defender and malware bytes pro (although that costs).

If you desperately need freeware though I'd avoid AVG free, never once heard a good story about that. I recommend bitdefender or avira.

As most have already mentioned, Malwarebytes is pretty much a must-have. I also use SuperAntiSpyware to help with the smaller problems. I don't think I've had any issues for the past 4 years because of these two.

.... Dammit, now I feel like running full scans just to be sure.

No anti-virus here, other than Windows Defender which I practically never run.
