Is there any guide to adding new props and new textures to EUP? E.g. if I wanted to create more vests with different logos for new agencies, is there a way to add on more agencies rather than replacing existing ones? If I wanted to add a different prop that's not an MP prop, for example the SWAT helmet, can I do that? I'm slowly working on figuring this stuff out, but if there's any existing guides or examples that would be helpful.

[REL] Coastal Callouts: An action-packed mod with new vehicles, maps, capabilities, and callouts in and around the waters of Los Santos

[REL] Police Tape: Make your scenes more realistic while stopping peds and traffic

[REL] Better EMS: Realistic and dynamic EMS response

Yes you can add more agency in the presetoutfits.ini

I understand that, I mean from a gamefile editing perspective. It seems that there are, for example, textures a, b, c, d for the vest, corresponding to LSPD, LSSD, BCSO, NOOSE. If I want to add a fifth texture, do I just create texture e? Is it like vehicle liveries where you can just keep adding sign_n, or is there a limit to how many texture variations a particular prop or piece of clothing can have that's hard-coded?

No unfortunately without ymt editing, yiu can't add more textures, you need to replace them, or replace an item with more textures variations like for example the vests that were added in mpjanuary dlc.

Thanks for the info. Can you share which items I should steer clear of that you're planning to replace in the next version of EUP?

Is there any way to allow EUP models to use normal SP pedprops? For example, can I add the SP sheriff campaign hat to come up under accessories in EUP?

Yes but the hat won't fit and will clip through your forehead, the campaign hat need to be readjusted in a 3d modeling software. But that will be covered in the next version, don't worry.

I'm loving the leg holsters in 7.4 @Alex_Ashfold.  What do you think of a PIA-style carrier vest with radio and equipment on it, that removes the need for a utility belt completely?  Anyone else interested in such a concept?

Extremely interested in that idea!

We use them in Australia, we call them load bearing vests. According to the officers it's much more comfortable.

I think it would be a great idea for obvious reasons

Hey! If anyone wanted the security uniform, old green border patrol shirt, or the old LSSD bike patrol texture, here ya go:

Install these into the EUP mod folder in OpenIV

Security Uniform: (mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_luxe_02)

     jbib_001_u.ydd   jbib_001_u_1.ydd   jbib_001_u_2.ydd   jbib_diff_001_d_uni.ytd (I didn't know which .ydd file it was)

Boarder Patrol: (mp_m_freemode_01_male_apt01)

     jbib_012_u.ydd   jbib_diff_012_a_uni.ytd

LSSD Bike Patrol Texture: (mp_m_freemode_01_male_apt01)

jbib_diff_003_c_uni.dds  (Replace any of the bike shirt textures with this one)

Some custom things I made (Very quickly and crudely made)

SWAT Vest: task_diff_001_e_uni.dds     (Replace any vest texture)

EMS Jacket: jbib_diff_003_a_uni.dds     (Replace any track jacket texture) (based off of michaels paramedic uniform)

EUP is strictly for the online character. It does not work for any other ped nor involve any other ped models

Has anyone thought of doing a "vintage addon pack" with some belts and covers and the like. seeing as we now have a surplus of 1970's/1980's era cruisers some era appropriate gear would be nice to have.
