Personally I like lore-friendly for local agencies (sheriff, san andreas state patrol, LSPD, etc.) but I like realistic for federal agencies (FBI, Park Rangers, etc.)

I'm with you!!! I don't mind what the skin is based off of... As long as it still says "Los Santos" or "Blaine County" or "San Andreas Highway Patrol/State Trooper" then I'm happy. I always appreciate when mod developers add the option for a Lore Friendly version of the skin. Though there are times where I get attached to a skin (AST Skins from SoberDrunk or a Texas State Trooper for example), but I always find myself wishing there were lore friendly versions, and I end up reverting to another skin. Personally, PACKS are my favorite, as they keep me from being targeted by jealous Officers who don't have the same spiffy skin that I do lol.

I definitely know how you guys feel in regards to staying lore-friendly. As much as I love using liveries from different agencies, simply knowing that they're not part of the lore or it's not what their real life counterparts are using totally ruins it for me after an hour or so.

That's mostly the reason why I started making livery textures myself. Actually, I've even taken a step further and even added other agencies in the game separate from the main ones. For example, I made standalone Rockford Hills and Del Perro PD units have their own jurisdiction that they actively patrol in game.

I can say I am sort of with you on that.

Too bad that all the "lore friendly" vehicles here on LSPDFR are, in fact, not lore friendly, but are rather real cars with fictional liveries. I find it annoying that every time I find what would seem to be a cool, lore friendly pack/vehicle, it ends up being a real vehicle with a fictional livery.
