Realism Dispatch Enhanced & LSPDFR

Featured Replies

So I really like the idea of Realism Dispatch Enhanced and have added it to my game but noticed a few minor annoyances I wanted to see if anyone else experienced and if they were able to fix it. First there are so many police vehicles roaming around that when something happens they all jump in (yes I realize it's supposed to be that way) the problem arises that the AI police automatically start to fire there weapons causing chaos for something as simple as a car chase and causing all the other peds to panic. Also when trying to arrest someone the backup officers just start shooting at the suspect even when he/she has their hands up and are in the motion of surrendering.

Does anyone else play with RDE? have you noticed this? I read a lot of reviews of people saying it's a must have etc etc... and it would be great if the AI police acted as they do without RDE and just LSPDFR. I'm wondering if I missed something while installing it.

I haven't used RDE before, so I don't know if it's supposed to be like that. If you do want police patrols and what not, I'd recommend The Sixth Star mod. It's very straightforward. Adds patrolling officers and detectives occasionally, and adds a bit more variation when you get a wanted level.

The AI police acts exactly the same as it does without RDE, the only difference is that the AI police are now patrolling - Something they do not otherwise do.

There are a couple of modifications which you might like. Check out "Keep Calm Mod" and "Auto Pursuit Disabler".

[REL] Coastal Callouts: An action-packed mod with new vehicles, maps, capabilities, and callouts in and around the waters of Los Santos

[REL] Police Tape: Make your scenes more realistic while stopping peds and traffic

[REL] Better EMS: Realistic and dynamic EMS response

When the next game update happens and you reinstall rde, don't replace the popcycle files. This will stop the police from patrolling

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

I play with RDE and (in those rare instances my game session runs longer than 7 minutes) didn't notice any drawbacks connected with how cops behave. RDE used to spawn a lot of gang members everywhere, but they fixed this problem. I value RDE for the amount of vehicles they added and some other stuff they did.

When I call for backup without RDE installed they wouldn't shoot at the ped I'm arresting or even while chasing. They would only shoot if if shot at and use tazers to also make an arrest. I've seen them shoot at people for running into there cars at red lights.

Thanks I will check those out.

RDE touches nothing to do with ped AI. Cops in GTAV have always been crazy, and if LSPDFR isn't controlling them during a pursuit, they won't do any better.

As mentioned, RDE adds the cops to the popcycle spawning, so you'll see more cops around the city with it than without, and it's probably why the "issues" seems more common.
