I personally think that it should be randomized between "The driver has paid the citation of $________"

and some times, it should be

"The driver HAS NOT paid the citation of $______"

and either he will:

- drive away, and you will have to give chase,

- or he will get out and start to fist fight you,

- OR he will stay in his car, and you have to take your next action... what ever that may be for you.

I would now like to show an example of this in the real world :D

Yes it was added. It's a very low percentage though.

I have never had the driver not pay his citation. Ever. If this is in fact added, I hope the percentage gets increased. All three scenarios the thread starter listed are fantastic ideas in my opinion. Even having the driver shout an insult or three at you would be funny.

And that video clip is a "Worlds Wildest Police Videos" classic. That traffic stop was from the state I live in, actually. :P

It has to be a 0,000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of him NOT wanting to pay, I don't recall ever having someone not pay the fine, even though I try to only give 100$ fines.

I'm not sure, maybe there's only a chance of them not wanting to pay when you issue a conventional fine (ALT + H) and not the traffic citation.

I'd like to see those situations mentioned by JetlinerX , but in my opinion the chance of him not paying the citation shouldn't be more than 5%.

I also think that the chance of a driver trying to escape when you try to stop him or when you're already approaching a stopped car on foot is too high. I don't know what the chance exactly is right now, but I think it should be somewhere around 10-15%.

Some people would debate that, and would like a much higher figure than 5%, probably 10-15%. This is because they want LCPDFR to be more fun.

The suspect running from the $100 ticket happened for the first time a couple days ago (yay!). It was a motorcycle rider with no helmet that had a passenger, also without a helmet. I tried to give him a $100 citation and he took off.

It's been happening a lot more frequently now. I'd probably say 25-50% chance people will run on foot when I give $100 fines, probably 25% in a vehicle. The more tickets you hand out the more chance you have apparently. My ticket stats are pretty high. I'm ranked 3rd in the database on that. lol

haha, i know right, i will do a traffic stop and then im writting up the traffic ticket and then the driver just drives away, and then im like eh ok wtf? I wasen't done with you lols.
