How to put people in your car?

Featured Replies

I go to my backdoor and push E but the suspect doesn't get in. I've gotten used to calling for a transport and how to to put a suspect in your own car after arresting them has gone over my head. Is it just opening the backdoor or is there more?

This is LSPDFR related, right? Hit 'F' and your ped should head for the driver's door, then turn around and open the back door, and order the suspect to get in. Then they will get in, or if they won't, they'll teleport there as soon as you drive off.

Customization is key to my gaming experience. I take pictures, do textures and lore-friendly vehicles.

Yes this is lspdfr I am asking about. Do I have to be near my car when pressing F, and how do I order them to get in after opening the back door?

Yes, you have to be near the car, as if you were trying to get in it yourself. Just before opening the door, however, your ped will turn around and open the back door instead (if a suspect is following you). They will then get in, you won't have to do anything.

If you are having trouble with it, you can disregard it altogether. Just hit F to enter your car and eventually the suspect will warp in the back seat if you get too far.

I have tried Shift T and the G but the suspect immediately exits the  cruiser and if i open the door and press E nothing happens and the suspect does not get in the vehicle, I tried just driving away to see if they would spawn in my cruiser and the instead just disappeared. How do I fix this?

Hey buddy don't worry it's a known issue of Arrest Manager which i'm sure you have installed is one of Albo's greatest plugins afterall. The way how I basically resolved this was by essentially ignoring the keys of Arrest Manager to grab peds and using the default keybinds of LSPDFR itself meaning after arresting them I'd grab a ped with E or DPadRight in the Xbox controller I use then once you're holding that arrestee going next to the back door of your car and holding E or whatever key you have assigned for LSPDFR interactions would place your ped in the back of your car with a very smooth animation and they will stay inside of it succesfully. Other thing you can do is to call for a transport unit to pick them up and alternatively you can arrest peds with "Stop that ped" mod and use its menu to also manage them. Hope this helps

Thank you for the tip! That fixed my problem!
