Leslie Benzies quit Rockstar! I wonder what that means for GTA in the future... any ideas?

Please provide a source, a reputable one. Otherwise this is a baseless claim. I at the very least haven't heard about it.

Kotaku is not a reputable source. In fact, I would say they were the opposite.

Thank you for the reputable source, that is unfortunate news.

Sad to hear, but the Rockstar team already knows the formula for creating hit GTA games. They stumbled onto it accidentally in 2001, and have simply built on it ever since by adding more cars, more missions, bigger maps, and better story writing. I'd be a lot more concerned if there was a mass exodus of the entire development team. I also don't think they can go anywhere with Max Payne anymore, nor can they do anything that would excite me with the Red Dead Redemption franchise, as you can only milk a 40 year time period for so long. I foresee Rockstar developing entirely new franchises to replace these, or maybe reviving games like Manhunt or Bully for second installments. All fine by me, so long as they stay away from the 'State of Emergency' franchise. God that game was terrible.

Or maybe they can buy the True Crime series and make it not suck. :)
