I expect Rockstar to release some holiday patch soon that will break everything again until 2016.

This content is probably already in the game, as they did similar "patches" before.

Correct, the holidays stuff is already there. I didn't really dig into it very much, but from what I could see it's a new car and a bunch of outfits for your Online mute character.

Oh, you've created GTA within LSPDFR within GTA, huh? Yo dawg I heard you liked GTA... It's nice to see the animation, though. CopHolster is a little bit "rough", to say the least. Being abl

will we be able to have partners in this? I believe the lapd have two cops per car so would be another nice addition im not sure if it was talked about or not

The devs have said before that they want to bring back as many features as they can from LCPDFR to LSPDFR, so the busy status feature will most likely come (might not be in 0.3), and as it's less complex than most of the other features in LSPDFR then it'll be a very high chance it will come eventually.

could always download Herocop and then you can run a partner or K9.

I know I already have that but would be nice to have it added with lspdfr instead of having to download all these scripts

I understand what your saying but no matter how you look at it LSPDFR, herocop, poilceradio, arrest manager...ect they are all mods.  If I have to download one extra script and spend 5 extra minutes installing I will to support the modding community that works hard to better the games that we play.

Early versions of LCPDFR did not have all the features LSPDFR has now - Be patient, we're still in early beta here people!

Any news? :)

Yeah I have some great news! I managed to save a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico

On another note. I am very excited for 0.3. So excited I went back and looked through the past screenshots from the very first week again..

I look through the screenshots like every day! :)

Are we going to be able to request backup to the scene while still enroute so multiple units can arrive at major incident scenes at the same time?

This would greatly add to the overall immersion and realism and save a lot of the situation where cops are getting gunned down while waiting for backup when you knew straight away you would need backup there.

Thank you.

Here in the states we have a saying. "Drive sober or get pulled over." you could single handling save the life's of thousands of people just by releasing the mod in time for the new year. excited for the release guys. Keep up the awesome work

Hey there, I have a quick question for the devs. Would it be possible to have LSPDFR recognize that Davis is actually LSSD jurisdiction and spawn backup units accordingly? What about  fixing the appearance of the vanilla sheriff building and surrounding peds?

We've never been fixing the appearance of anything in the game (texture mods, model mods etc). We leave that for the Community. Regarding the, rather misplaced, LSSO building I don't think that will happen due to the area they govern being a bit too small. I am not a developer though, so we shall wait and see.

Thanks for the quick reply ineseri (even though you're not a dev). I definitely understand if this is too much of a hassle to do. Still, it would be really neat to see LSSD patrol/respond in Davis (and BCSO in Blaine County) :)

Absolutely - And I am fairly certain there are mods to fix these issues, take a look at our downloads section :)

So does LSPDFR respect agency jurisdictions as in the game files?

Meaning that if the Blaine county sheriff units are installed for example or the Davis station is switched to sheriff is it going to work for responding units and backup spawned by the mod?

I thought that it is hard coded for some reason.

No, that is not a standard feature in LSPDFR 0.2. But with LSPDFR 0.3 you can change the backup in customization files, which allow for any ped or car to respond.
