Just a suggestion.. The credit for the idea belongs to Stealth22 . I want to make sure this is known and plus its the respectful thing to do... He uses this neat new feature in Code 3 Callouts called the CAD

This is the description for it

[NEW!] Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) display for each call – Press CTRL + D any time
after accepting a callout to view details about the situation from Dispatch. This
information will be updated as the situation progresses, with suspect names, vehicle
descriptions, and license plate numbers!

Would this be difficult to add in at this point>? or even something similar..  If not something you care to add in, I can respect that decision. I just like to pitch out suggestions and sometimes they are based on what another developer did with their mods.. The important thing is I give credit to Stealth22:thumbsup:

Would be nice if something like CAD could be released as a standalone LSPDFR plugin with an API, allowing any callout author to use it. Having give different implementations would be annoying.

I guess Stealth22 would be the person to ask, I'm assuming the CAD is his creation.

I could write something like this up but I've got too much on my list at the moment. If it's not done when I get less busy I'll happily make it reality.

I wouldn't realistically rely on something like this though as users have extremely varying experiences with windows like these (due to GPU issues, perhaps?). Some can't even see them at all, while extreme flickering is also a common issue that really reduces the appeal of having a window like this to rely on.

I can see where this would become an issue.. It would be nice to have something at the ready so you don't have to pause the game over and over to see how someones named is spelled, especially those really awkward names that I can't even pronounce, let alone spell quickly enough. Guess I need to take some keyboarding classes, :thumbsup:

Here's an idea... how about a key that when pressed would re-display the most recently looked up info from the police computer, e.g. suspect name or vehicle owner info. Although I'm not sure if this would be possible with the current LSPDFR API. 

Of course, you can always just look in the notifications brief from the pause menu!

This is what I find annoying to have to pause over and over for name lookups.. That's why I was requesting a CAD window or something other than having to pause it over and over to look at names and how to spell them..Just seems like there is a better way:thumbsup:

I've tirelessly looked into this for British Policing Script but haven't found any way to retrieve past notifications. And you're right it's not available in the LSPDFR API at the moment :sad:

I'm experiencing several bugs in the immigrants in truck callout: 

  • It tells you a vehicle color, but it always uses a mule... you never actually see the vehicle color of a mule; they're liveried vehicles 
  • Even if you apprehend all of the suspects, the callout says 4 suspects escaped 
  • When you open the door by pressing F, the immigrants try to close the doors, and the doors flap open/closed a bunch in a really weird way. Then they all insta-pop out. 
  • It appears that if during the pullover the vehicle starts to flee (probably per LSPDFR's internal random selection of whether to pull over or run), the callout crashes once the vehicle stops and you look in the back

  • Yea, I've removed that in the next version.
  • Heh, I noticed that during my video ^.^ Will fix it next update.
  • Unfortunately there's no animation for getting in and out of the vehicle (getting out of the back warps you outside of the driver side door, so I put them at the back again). The door flapping is something I've been looking to remove, but I haven't found a way to make the peds in the back leave the doors alone as of yet.
  • Yup, this one's fixed too :thumbsup:

A really strange thing has started happening with my Assorted Callouts and I cant put my finger on why. I have been having issues where whenever I turn up to a traffic stop backup callout LSPDFR crashes when I press Y to talk to the other officer. The same happens when I go to talk to the clerk on the petrol theft callout. I know for sure that the store robbery callout is working fine, anyone have any ideas? Else not what log file would i need to post for someone to try and help me work out the root of my problem?

You need to make sure Windows Media Player is installed and enabled on your computer.

is it possible to redo the voices ourselves and add them back in? because a lot of the voice acting in this sounds like bored students forced to read off a piece of paper in a monotonous voice.especially the opening dialog for the bank hostage situation. i need more enthusiasm.

The only voice acting included is in the bank heist and is not done by me. You are free to edit it as you wish - and if you want to disable it entirely you can do so in the INI file. Might help to post suggestions like this in the topic here in future instead of slashing 3 stars for audio I didn't create. Ta.

On the bank heist it should force the ambulance that the hostages get into to be livery 3 and the ambulance between the firetrucks to be livery 2. Also, the firetrucks should be forced to livery 1. This is just a suggestion because I use multiple liveries and it doesn't make much sense when North Yankton sends an ambulance to help with a bank heist xD

 

(Also you forgot to add shoplifting to the current callouts in the description)
