All the time in a fire fight I have a car about to explode and a bunch of civies running and walking around it. I think a civilian disperse function, such as a speech command on the numpad would tell the people to run, and everyone in the area will flee and retreat. Civilians that is. Not the baddies. I think its a good idea.

Nice idea, but the only bad thing i can think of is if its a random guy with a gun and not someone you get a call on, it may cause him to leave too.

Seems plausible to do, too. There is already a speech file the in-game cops use that asks for people to clear the area, so the speech aspect is taken care of already, just need a script to use it. Not sure how easy it would be to actually disperse the civilians, but it would definitely be worth the effort I believe. Good idea.

It would add for realism and cut down on accidental civie kills.

You know, yesterday I downloaded this mod @ night, Installed and play till 5 in the morning, lol, I too felt it needs the same kind of function, but I would say in two modes, one like using the police chatter to shout(or w/e it is called) and the other by firing a round of pistol in the air and shouting "Liberty Police!". Depending on if we have our gun drawn.

I would just use player selector to say the " Evacuate Area " line and just walk through them. They would leave after that.
